I'm offering a studio flat in a new complex in Vinohrady. The complex site and further info can be seen by searching Rezidence Riegrovy Sady.
This is a 54m/sq (or 600 sq/ft) 3rd floor studio apartment with a stunning westerly view of the city. From a small private terrace you can watch the sun set nightly over Prague Castle.
There is a washer and dryer in the apartment, a full bathroom, and a queen size Murphy bed that folds into a wardrobe if you want more space to entertain. High speed wireless internet, flat screen TV (Local channels plus HBO, BBC, CNN etc.) DVD player, and iPod dock/player are all included.
The furnishings are modern and high quality. The couch can lay flat and act as full bed to accommodate a visiting friend. The floors are hard wood and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove with stainless hood, oven and microwave, fridge, 18 bottle wine cooler, espresso machine, electric kettle and bar/counter that serves as a table/serving area. Secure underground parking can be arranged. There is an elevator and 24hr on site security.

I'm a neat, responsible, and respectful person that enjoys traveling and exploring - I work to travel. Currently I'm working on a project that will keep me rather grounded for the next year or so. So just let me know when you're looking to go to Prague and hopefully my flat will be available for you to enjoy.
Jed Kircher(USA) purchased this studio in 2008
This is my European Pied-à-terre. I fell in love with Prague some 10 plus years ago and have traveled back for months at a time every year. This is an excellent location to explore Prague, the Czech Republic and all of Europe.
I chose the Vinohrady neighborhood and this particular property because of its location. It is walking distance to Prague's most important and interesting locations. A short list would include Riegrovy Sady Park, the main train station, Old Town Square, namesti Miru, many of the city's best restaurants, and the discussion provoking Zizkov TV tower. The property also has a beautiful terrace view of Prague Castle. It is close enough to the center to walk to all the main attractions but removed enough so that you aren't living in an area inundated by tourists and all things tourism. The neighborhood (Vinohrady) is considered one of the best and safest in the city.
Having a clean, safe and comfortable place to return to after a day of sightseeing and discovery in a foreign city is so reassuring. This apartment just does that - it is just as described: modern, clean, very safe and comfortable. The only (and truly only) improvements I would suggest are: providing a toaster and new towels. Also, this is the first time in years of renting apartments through VRBO, that payment IN FULL is expected before arrival. Normally, arrival and inspection of facilities is followed by balance of payment, but this is not so here. However, I would not let this be a deterrent because my husband and I were very pleased with the apartment, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others visiting the jewel that is Prague.
My best friend and I stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved the flat! It was a short walk from the train station and we were so close to Wenceslaus Square and Old Town that we walked everywhere. Everything we needed was in the flat (great washer & dryer) and every night we enjoyed the gorgeous view of Prague from the terrace. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we come back to Prague. Thank you to Jed and Oksana!
Great apartment, very clean, comfy and full of all the facilities and comforts you could want. Amazing view of the city from the balcony and only a short walk to and from the main train station and the city. Out host was extremely kind and very helpful making sure we were settled in, and she even helped walk us to the Airport Express bus at the end of our stay! A perfect place to stay, would definitely recommended and will likely be staying there again soon!
Clean, modern apt. Close to train station and old town. Very functional kitchen and washer/dryer a plus. Oksana was quite helpful. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed are short time in Prague.
A perfect retreat after a full day of wandering around the crowded streets of Prague. Comfortable, well equipped and a short walk from the train station and public transportation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We envy you, Jed. What a find. Your suite really worked for us. It has to be in one of the nicest areas in Prague. Very easy to get around the city from there. Either walking or transit. Once we got onto using the transit system in Prague, we were able to zoom-in on all the points of interest and view-points that make Prague the jewel that it is. A minute from the entrance you can jump on a bus and away you go into action with the option to jump off anywhere along the route and jump onto a trolly or walk in beautiful safe surroundings. We got 3 day transit passes at the rail-station and really utilized them to move around even though it is an easy walk to Wenceslas square where all the central action takes place. People, food, drink and fun not to mention museums, theaters and entertainment. Then after full days we took advantage of returning to your apartment to relax, either soaking in your big bathtub, cooking a great meal getting food and produce from the markets close by(love your kitchen). Having the washer & dryer in your suite really made traveling out of suitcase easy. Good set-up and easy to do while tasting the local wines and watching the fire-works and incredible views from your balcony. I can't say enough about your apartment. We got spoiled, well appointed and the kitchen is first class. Hope we didn't wear your espresso machine out. When we departed, it was a 10 minute stroll to the rail station to travel on but Prague was definitely the jewel of our journey and your apartment defintley contributed to it.
Thank-you, Al & Linda ps the Murphy bed was more than comfortable, better than our bed at home
