Brand-new cabin-style lodge located on the northern end of Moosehead Lake on Toe of the Boot. From Rockwood this property is about a 30 min drive, or an hour drive from the town of Greenville. This new cabin features 4 bedrooms (three of which are on the main floor) the fourth is an upstairs loft. The kitchen has many nice features like granite countertops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, and hardwood floors throughout. From the kitchen and dining room enjoy views of Moosehead Lake and the surrounding trees. There is also a view from the master bedroom and a set of sliding glass doors from the master bedroom or from the living room onto the large wrap-around deck. The master bathroom is breathtaking with a large custom tile walk-in shower, double-size jet tub and a spacious tastefully-decorated decor. The centerpiece of the cabin is a large floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace (IMPORTANT this fireplace is NOT functional during the summer season). This property is located so far into the 'North Woods' that the electricity source is solar with a generator back-up (guests should be try to conserve energy in the evenings, for example do laundry during the daylight hours) and there is no landline phone but there is spotty cell phone coverage. But two bonus features that even some of our in-town properties don't have and this property does - Satellite TV and a washer/dryer! To access the lake, there is a grassy front lawn in front of the house/deck, then a woodchip path down to the water's edge. The owner will be installing an approx. 28 foot dock. There is a also a small pebble beach area to go in and go swimming or for easy water access.
