Only 1.2 miles up Elk Ridge Road from Welcome Center, you'll have one of the best views of Grandfather Mountain all to yourself. Lie in the second floor bedroom and gaze out the ceiling-high window at the panoramic view of Grandfather Mountain, where your heart will feel like you could soar with the birds. Rock on the large front porch and listen and look for wildlife, like the wild turkeys or the beautiful deer. Breakfast in the sun-kissed dining room, where nature joins you at the table. Later in the evening, dine by candlelight for a comfy, natural experience.

Sit by the fireplace on a chilly evening or luxuriate in the spa off the generous deck.
