Comfortable 3BR 1BA Cottage sleeps 6

Three bedroom cottage on beautiful Long Lake in Cheboygan. Sleeps 6, with futon in livingroom for a max of 8. Full cooking facilities, large front and back yard, fire pit, dock & outdoor charcoal grill. Row boat included free of charge with rental. The cottage is located near the end of a quiet paved road with little traffic which is excellent for taking walks, biking, and roller blading. Located near Cheboygan, day trip distance to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island, Indian River (Cross in the Woods), Petoskey. Located close to Lake Huron and the Inland waterways. Enjoy swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing and a beautiful sunset on this all sports lake.

Rented Saturday to Saturday. Peek season weekly rentals, (non-smoking only), deposit required. (See misc section for availability and alternate rates) Pets considered if well behaved. Extra deposit required. Contact us for reservations or more information.

We loved our stay at the Long Lake cottage. My children, 2 & 4, were in the water every day and really enjoyed riding in the rowboat. The house itself was much nicer than I expected, the photos don't do it justice. We made use of the firepit, grill, and patio on several occasions (and went through quite a bit of bug spray around dusk). If I had to complain about something, it would be AT&T's poor 4G coverage of the area, meaning we had to go into town for wi-fi, which we found at Your Spirit, a tasty local joint (try the Australian meat pie!) The cottage is a reasonable distance for day trips to Mackinac City, Mackinac Island, and Petoskey, as well as Aloha State Park and Maple Ridge Stables (we went for a trail ride, it was beautiful and well worth the price.) I would definitely recommend this for people with kids, ours were so disappointed when it was time to head home.
