Our family stayed in March 2011. The home is high off the ground and the outside railing is coming off, and pickets are missing. If you have little ones they can fall through. Also we had to buy cleaning supplies because there were dirty bathrooms, leftover used soap, no pillow cases, filthy sticky handrails for inside stairs, dirty walls, beer cans littering outside, over flowing trash, dirty bath mats, etc. Looks like this property is for sale and so it has been neglected. And all of this didn't seem to bother the property manager. Cleaning fee is also too high. On the positive the beach was beautiful, and house has wifi.

Owner's Response: This rental stay was from 3/18 to 3/22. On 3/21, the day before departure I was contacted about refunding cleaning fees because the unit was supposedly dirty on arrival. I informed renter that the time to contact someone regarding anything being unclean or in disrepair was at the time of check in and we would have happily taken care of it at that time and that no damage was noted by the cleaning staff at the time of cleaning before renters arrival. Additionally our cleaning crew had been on site to deliver additional sheets to them for use on the sleeper sofa shortly after they arrived and no one had informed them or ownership of a cleaning problem or any damages. This home is not, and was not at the time of rental, or at anytime in the past 4 years, been for sale and has definitely not been neglected getting some new furnishings, fridge, and electronics recently. We want satisfied renters and would be happy to correct any complaints you have but can't be responsible for cleaning a unit after you have already occupied it with 12 people for three days and nights. If any of our renters have a problem, please contact us immediately so that it may be addressed quickly and we can continue our high occupancy and repeat rental business.
