A magical private cottage built on the rocks of Schooner Cove where eagles, osprey and seabirds fly by at eye level. Panoramic views from every window and the deck offers wonderful sunrises and sunsets.

We'll tell you about this discreetly comfortable residence but first you should know of Stonehurst which is 10-minutes from the town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

The area is beautiful and was originally carved by glaciers. The landscape has been flooded by the sea forming fjords and quiet coves framed in slate-coloured stone. Delicate lichen and a variety of berries thrive in the salty mists.

Inside Schooner Cove it is cozy and well decorated with wide pine floors, original art and large picture windows offering panoramic views of the private cove and the islands beyond. The main level features a comfortably spacious living room with hardwood floors, large picture windows, a separate large dining area, a well equipped kitchen bedroom (2 twins) and full bath. On the second floor the master suite with private bath is oriented to capture the water views.

Schooner Cove offers the ultimate in privacy and peacefulness with easy access to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Chester. A jewel in Canada's most desired summer address.
