Come and enjoy the beauty and fun that is Lake Tahoe....enjoy the rest, relaxation and comfort that is our home, The Idlewood Inn in Tahoe Vista, CA! Enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe Views right outside the French doors on the upstairs deck! We have a fully equipped kitchen with seating for 8 at the dining table; and, just outside the sliding door, there is a charcoal grill on the lower deck. We have 2 TVs, 2 DVD players, a CD player, 2 VCRs, a Foosball Table and plenty of games for the family to play. Don't forget to enjoy the Beautiful Lake View from the upper deck while sipping your favorite beverage! We provide all linens, a washer/dryer and unlimited local and long distance calls. If you need to keep in touch with the outside world, bring your laptop- we have WiFi access!

Local Activities: Take a short walk down the street to the North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista! There you can enjoy year round activities including sledding (we provide sleds), miles of trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, snowmobile rentals, tennis courts, basketball hoops, picnic tables and a playground for the kids! Why not just take a walk through the quiet and safe neighborhood that surrounds the Idlewood Inn! We are also close to beaches, river rafting, beach 'toy' rentals, boat rentals, golf, miniature golf, whitewater rafting, bicycle rentals, para sailing, iIce skating, bowling, horseback riding and Movie Theaters. You can also test your luck at the casinos only 15 minutes away over the Nevada border. World class skiing is just a short drive from the Idlewood Inn: Northstar-10 minutes, Squaw Valley-25 minutes, Alpine Meadows-25 minutes, Homewood-25 minutes and Diamond Peak in Incline Village, NV-20 minutes!

Because Tahoe Vista is so centrally located, we are also close to shopping, video rentals, grocery shopping and great restaurants- sit on the beautiful lakeside deck at Garwoods and enjoy sipping a famous 'Wet Woody!'
