We stayed at the apartment last October for the first time. It is in a fantastic location in the Essex House Hotel opposite Central Park. Overall the apartment is wonderful. Lots of space and very comfortable with every convenience, unlike many Manhattan apartments. It even has a king size bed! The apartment has a city view with huge windows. You can see Carnegie Hall from here! If you want a central location just minutes from Lincoln Centre and conveniences like Whole Foods, I would highly recommend this apartment. We have already booked for later this year.

Location! Location! Location!

The location of this condo was the best. We walked to everything we did - shows, shopping, Central Park, great restaurants. An added bonus for us was that the New York Marathon went right by the Essex House! (I am a long distance runner).
The furnishings are rather dated. The bathroom is small and definitely needs a new tub and shower. The king size bed is very comfortable.
The entire unit needs a good thorough dusting! This seems to be neglected.
We were not in the condo all that much so the furnishings and dustiness did not bother us all that much.
However, we are disappointed that we have still not received our refundable security deposit of $500. We were very timely in sending in all our payments but the courtesy of returning our refund is not being reciprocated in a timely manner even though we were told in an email that it would be.
