Athens Vacation Rental apartment

Right from the initial enquiry, Athens Studio offered a really good level of customer service. Answering all questions, via email within 24hours.

The collection from the airport and 'check-in' at the apartment was easily setup but unfortunately had to re-arranged literally at the eleventh hour due to flight delays. But for the 'local' contact in Athens, this was simply handled by a few SMS's. The 'local' representative for Athens Studio was courteous, very professional and, never more than an SMS away.

The Athens studio airport transfer service is certainly good value compared to the local taxi's, with the added advantage that the driver actually knows where the apartment is.

The apartment itself, whilst basic and part of a building that has not been renovated in recent years, was clean and very comfortable. Bedding and towels were provided, ample hot water, air conditioning in bedroom and living room. The building main entrance door was always locked, so the security was not preceved to be a problem. The apartment is on the 5th floor, but 2 lifts were both functional but very very small, both my girlfriend and I are slim and strugled to stand side by side in the lift, with bags was impossible.

The location was superb, as it was within a short walk to the Athens underground train network that is just a breeze to navigate, getting from one side of the city to the other in minutes. The old city, 2 underground train stops. The Tavernas in Kolonaki were superb and comfortable walking distance from the apartment.

Nearby mini supermarkets provided all the extras we needed.

All in all, a great holiday supported by a professional apartment rental company in a really clean and comfortable apartment. Very very good value for money. I have already recomended to my friends.
