House, 4 Bedrooms + Office, 2.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

Blue skies, relaxing, golf, hiking biking and shopping are all minutes away. The pool is two minutes walk away, pitch and putt 3 min walk, Frys and other amenities 2 min drive away, Championship golf course Johnson Ranch is 3 min drive, hiking 15 min, 5 shopping malls with such stores as Costco, Macy's, Steinmart, Ross, Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohls and many more all within 30 min drive and BLUE SKIES everywhere. There is even a catch and release fish pond 2 minutes away beside the pitch and putt.

The house itself is spacious, with 4 large bedrooms, three with walk in closets. The master bedroom has a California king size bed with reading area and an ensuite with jack and jill sinks, bath tub, and stand up shower and a great walk in closet. Two additional bedrooms have large queen size beds and one has two twin beds in it. Enough room to get lots of privacy in air conditioned comfort or stretch out in the sun in the spacious back yard. The Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and a great living and dining areas adjacent to a gas grill on the covered patio and uniquely painted back yard walls (fun).

Although we love the house we find that we spend most of our time golfing, hiking, spending time at the pool and hot tub, shopping, or going to see one of the many professional sports activities

Why The Owner chose Queen Creek

My wife loves to shop and I love to golf and we both love the Arizona heat. This is a perfect combination which started our search for our retirement home. Now that we are here we have found so much more. Bonus activities which have become a staple are hiking and viewing all of the different desert ecosystems, especially Saguaro cactus and Joshua tree ecosystems. We love to come here a couple of times a year, once in the winter for shopping, golf and to get away from the snow and cold and a guys golf trip in the spring.

  • King size beds (1) This is a california king bed which means it is 6 inches longer than the average king size bed. It is located in the master bedroom, Queen size Beds (2) There are two queen size beds, one in the desert room and one in the golf room. The name of the room indicates the type of print or photos on the wall., Twin or Single Beds (1) the twin beds have been split from a bunk bed so there are two twin beds in one room which we call the sports room or boys room, Sleep Sofa or Futons (1) This is actually a blow up air matress, found in the upstairs linen closet, that blows up to queen size. My wife and I have slept on this as well as other guests and it is a very comfortable sleep

    There are only a couple of blue ray movies to start but there is a blockbuster on the corner beside the Frys grocery store

    (4) basic cable tv is provided which has all the big channels, Golf channel and ESPN and lots of entertainment tonight type shows as well as CNN and the local channels. A friend in Mesa gave us an old TV so we have three tvs with cable, one in the main living room (47 inch flat screen ) and one in the reading room (20 inch) as well as one in the master bedroom (32 inch flat screen). A blue ray/iPOD player is attached to a home entertainment system in the living room with a DVD in the master bedroom. also a 32 inch flat screen in the desert room

    This is a small deck but has the grill and table with chairs and is very functional and comfortable, some of our best moments have been on the patio at the end of a day of golf. We have spiced up the cinder block walls of the back yard with some inspired artwork with a San Tan area theme, also a topic for lots of discussion.

    We must consider the next person to stay at our home and therefore there is to be no smoking inside the home or near an open window or door that smoke may enter the home. If the cleaners find that the smell of smoke is in the home we will have to fumigate the rooms and this will take a significant portion of the damage deposit

    This is so difficult to monitor to make sure someone does not take advantage for the next guests who may have alergies that we have decided to just not to allow pets

    Each of the pools has a hot tub adjacent to the pools. The temp is about 103F

    each of the shared pools is heated to 80F, unfortunatly the stardust pool closest to the house is not open during the winter months, The Indgo pool which is open is about 1.75 miles south of the JOhnson Ranch golf course club house

There isn’t much more that we can say about this home that hasn’t been said before. This place is fantastic!!! It was absolutely spotless, and had all the conveniences of home. It had everything that we needed, plus a lot more that was available but didn’t need or use. It was nice to be able to lock the car in the garage at night instead of in a motel parking lot! Great to look out to the back wall and see the fun painting. Relaxing to just look around and see all the thought and care that has gone into decorating and maintaining the home. Relaxing also to sit on the patio in the evening and enjoy the quiet. All the info that was provided in the welcoming letter was much appreciated. If we are ever in need of a rental in this area again, you can be certain that this will be our first choice!

The listing is very accurate regarding the location, appearance and amenities.
The property was clean and very well maintained.
Anytime I had any questions or problems (which were very few) they were answered immediately. I did have a problem with the microwave and it was replaced. Also the washing machine had a minor problem and the person who maintains the property was there to fix it without delay.
The property is close to everything you need, gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants etc.
A nice touch was a notebook providing information on just about anything you needed (location of restaurants, shopping centers, golf courses, spring training baseball parks, television channels, etc.).
The home was very spacious, more than enough room.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to vacation.

Your description and pictures are very accurate.. The property is very spacious and comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with and promptly answered all questions and provided much info about the golf courses, dining, shopping, etc. We had a little glitch with the washer and their friends who look after the property were taking care of it immediately. This is a quiet neighborhood and the Johnson Golf Course GREAT. San Tan Flats Bar/Grill has great food and a fun atmosphere. Thanks for letting us use your home.

Hi - I haven't submitted anything because it says only 1 person in the rental party can submit a review but these were my comments:

This house is exactly as the owner described and showed in the photos! The bedrooms are very roomy, (the master bedroom is huge!) The kitchen/dining area and the living room were a good size also. Three couples stayed together in the house and it was spacious enough for all of us. It is in a quiet neighbourhood about 40 minutes south of Apache Junction.
The owner was very helpful answering all of our questions, and has someone closeby who is available if there are any problems.
I would recommend this house to friends and family, but note that you will have to drive a minimum of half an hour to pretty much everything!
The San Tan Flat bar and grille is a must to go to (15 minute drive)! It is a great restaurant and bar with firepits by picnic tables outside, live music Thursday to Saturday, and of course there is indoor dining as well. Queen Creek Marketplace (30 minute drive) and San Tan Village mall (40 minute drive) are both great shopping areas. The Johnson Ranch golf course is very close and is a very scenic course! There a too many courses to mention them all, but some of the other courses we went to include The Links Golf course (15 minute drive), Apache Creek Golf Course (30 minutes), Western Skies Golf Club and Painted Mountain Golf Club (2 favourites) (45 minutes). (ask at Painted Mountain about the round of golf and steak supper for around $50 special!).
One thing I was disappointed in was that during the winter months, the Johnson Ranch/Queen Creek communities closed the pool and hot tub rec centre that was so close to the house!
