Well suited for family events, this one level, 2300 square foot home has a wonderful great room/ kitchen/ patio/ backyard arrangement that handles large families well. Three bedrooms at the quiet end of the house complement the kitchen and video game office at the socializing end of the house, for good sound separation. A separate formal dining/ living room area is set up to extend the dinner table to seat large groups. The roomy kitchen with the 5X7 island makes meal preparation part of the socializing.
Three full baths, a 110 gal. water heater, and new appliances make for trouble free living. Lots of off street parking includes space for a large RV or boat, or toy trailers.
Three blocks from downtown Kanab, eight blocks to the exceptional city park complex which has a park and picnic area, ball diamonds, tennis courts, and a new city pool with lazy river.
Kanab is central to several national recreation areas, Lake Powell, and St. George. Truly something for everyone!
Keywords: One level home, no stairs. Two blocks from Downtown Tourist area. Patio with grill. Kitchen/ Great Room Combination.

Susan and Howard Davis purchased this house in 2008
We bought this home as our retirement home.
Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, friendly townspeople, access to several recreation areas.
My husband and I stayed here for three weeks and loved it. The house was clean and spacious with every amenity we could want for cooking and entertaining. The beautiful red rock setting is impressive too. The neighborhood is quiet and just a short stroll to the shops on Main St. The location is great for visiting Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and many other natural marvels. On top of that, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful when we had any questions about the town. Susan, the owner, was a joy to deal with. She responded promptly to our questions and always followed up to make sure we were okay. We will definitely be back!
Thank you Susan! We had our second visit to Kanab at this location in September last year, and just as before we had an absolutely wonderful time. Susan was very accommodating and accessible to answer all our questions and make suggestions. The location is quiet and within easy access to the local stores and places of interest. The house was immaculate and spacious, especially for two people. We cook most of our meals, and really enjoy the expansive and fully equipped kitchen. We are avid outdoor photographers and spent most of our time with some of the exceptional photographic tour companies located in Kanab. Of particular note was the day we spent with Mike Henrie and Kanab Western Adventures. We did a thorough walk-through of White Pocket to include a sunset that we will remember forever.
We hope to see you again!
That place was perfect for us , even if we were only two and place for 8 we enjoy our stay .
Full of stock on place . Everything you need for cooking . Near enough for all the place we wanted to visit .
Zion , Bryce ,Grand Canyon SOUTH and North ,Antelop Canyon ( wow dont miss the lower part ) Havasu falls The Wave ( a wonder ) ,Wire Pass , The Toadstools, ETC there is so much to visit . We stay 1 month and didn't have enough . PERFECT HOUSE for this kind of visit and for any others .
THANKS for the great stay
This was our second stay at this beautiful and well-stocked house. We volunteered at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and would come home each day and relax at this immaculate home. The kitchen is spacious as are the gathering areas. Most importantly, the beds are very comfortable. We won't stay anywhere else!
The house and location were perfect for a family reunion and visits to nearby Nat'l Parks. Amenities and cleanliness were excellent!
This was the perfect property for our stay in Kanab during our family reunion. We had two families of four (4 adults, 4 kids) and this house fit us all very well! It is centrally located but very quiet! Thank you for sharing your residence with us, we will definitely be using it again next year!
Hiking available at Squaw Peak Trail at the end of Hamblin Park one mile from the house, also K Mountain is half mile east of the house and is a nice short climb to see the entire valley, Movie Town Museum and The Old Barn show history video and first run movies made in Kanab during it's Movie Making Hey Days....quite entertaining. Western Legends Roundup of Movie and Cowboy history occurs usually at the end of August. Moqui Caves and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary make for a great visit.
