Comfortable apartment in central location
Stayed in late September for 5 days . Apartment is centrally located, yet very quiet. Metro is minutes away. Due to warm weather, we were very grateful for the AC. Photos are accurate; apartment is not fancy, but is clean and pleasant. We mostly used the kitchen to make coffee, wash fruit, and chill water. You can walk to many places (Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese.
The one issue we ran into was the need to pay cash upon arrival (listing indicates that a credit card is acceptable; we used paypal for the deposit), so we had to go a nearby ATM. Owner, Luca, was by on the 2nd day to arrange the wireless internet. He also provided directions to a nearby supermarket. The elevator in the building works, but can be finicky. We used the stairs as much as possible.
This was our 3rd trip to Rome. Highly recommend the Borghese Gallery (get advanced reservation), Vatican Museum (open late on Friday; also recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid the line) and Palazzo Doria Pamphilj.
I would recommend this place to a friend.
