I have lived in Idaho for over 25 years and truly enjoy all it has to offer! I have been in the Boise area now for 9 years and am still exploring the area.
Cheryl purchased this house in 2005
I purchased this home when I first moved to Boise. Not only was it a new home in an established neighborhood, but it was close to everything I enjoy doing.
This property is in a great location for getting around the City and the Valley quickly. The home is cozy and well appointed. I'm certain you will feel at home from the moment you arrive.
"Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beautiful home. My grandkids had an amazing time and for that I will be forever grateful to you."
My wife and I were moving to the Boise area, and we needed a base camp to begin the house search. I wish we could have stayed here.
The owner is tremendously friendly and accommodating. I have tons of outdoor gear (Boise is a mecca), and there was plenty of storage space for bikes and kayaks. It is located right next to the greenbelt trail. Most mornings I would bike downtown. I'd be there in 5 minutes and be enjoying morning coffee.
You can fly fish 3 minutes away by bike. The whitewater park and surf wave is less than a mile away. There's a huge dog park less than 1 mile away. And it's super easy to get onto either I-84 or I-184.
I really don't have a bad thing to say. I'll recommend this house for any of my friends/family that are coming to Boise for an extended stay.
The house was clean and had many amneties available that made our stay very comfortable. The backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling.
My family and I had a great time in this house, Boise is quite a surprise to me. This house was great location and the no traffic meant we were able to go about to different locations in no time. The owner was great, she went above and beyond getting items we needed for the stay.
In Boise area for about 2 weeks and this was a great option versus a hotel. There were 3 of us, so we had our own rooms.Having a full kitchen saved on eating out. Bring your bikes or rent some! You can get to everything by bike and it is beautiful. Internet, nice backyard with grill. Worked out perfect for us.
The house is nice but it is on the street and their is only one bedroom not on the street side. So there is traffic noise in the early a.m. - 1 a.m. and on, not a lot but enough to keep you waiting for the next vehicle. That is the only reason I rate it average. A light bulb in the bedroom did not work, a bedside lamp and the clocks had not been set ahead for daylight savings. The back yard is lovely and the living room, kitchen are great as well as the dining room. Cute house overall! And it is so easily accessible to everywhere we went during our Boise stay!!
It was the ideal vacation home for this grandmother, my son, daughter in law, and two children age two and four. Having all the bedrooms upstairs, with two at one end of the home, with laundry facilities separating the third ( master) bedroom, provided the ideal amount of privacy. All areas of the home presented themselves well, and were very clean. I felt the homeowner would have quickly responded to any of our needs. However, we didn't have any as the home was well supplied. The only helpful hint I mentioned was perhaps having small personal bath soaps, or gel for shower. I would highly recommend this vacation rental, and would use it again!
This home is situated in an ideal location for getting around the city and Treasure Valley quickly. Easy access to the Greenbelt, Town Square Mall, Downtown, Garden City. Ann Morrison and Kathryn Albertson parks are also close. There are numerous restaurants/eateries downtown and I am happy to recommend some of my favorites!
