You're only minutes away from the Nantahala River where you and your family can enjoy water activities such as white water rafting or tubing. Then there's the ski resort in Maggie Valley just 20 minutes away and the new amusement park "Ghost Town" that just re-opened. You can also visit the Biltmore in Asheville only 40 minutes away.
Mountain Heritage Lodge is located in a 200 acre community and backs into a National Forest with beautiful mountain views, creeks and cascading waterfalls on every corner. You can enjoy many of it's walking trails, a children's play area, an outdoor community hearth, and a small pond. This house has two large decks that overlook the Preserve, ponds, and mountain views. There is a gas fire pit next to the spa on the lower deck that you can sit and warm to or roast marshmellows at. Beautifully decorated with rustic lodge furnishings, this house is truly a place to retreat to with your family or friends.
