Snowbear is a bright sunny townhome in the popular Lake Village complex. Lake Village has Huge hot tub, two saunas, showers and clubhouse & game room in the winter months. After the snow melts a large pool, picnic area, tennis courts, barbecue grills and children's play area are available to our guests. Snowbear also has it's own private Hot Tub and fantastic Gourmet kitchen with all a cook needs. Snowbear also has WIFI/ DSL. Snowbear is steps from the forest and trails for Cross Country skiing in the winter and casual hiking/biking during other Tahoe seasons. Our townhome overlooks the local the mountains of Heavenly Valley. Snowbear has an attached two car garage. Our home is nicely furnished,with King beds and color remote Tvs in three upstairs bedrooms, The Master bedroom features a gas log fireplace, 17' color TV w/ remote. The Master bath has dual sinks, pergo flooring and a tub shower. The downstairs bedroom has it's own bath, a Queen bed ,twin bed, and remote color TV!

    A reservation requires: 50% down (we 'hold' the townhouse for 4 days to allow your check to arrive) with the remainder due no less than 30 days before the first reserved date.
    Our cancellation policy is: to refund any amount paid that can be recovered by re-renting the days reserved.

    Security Deposit Policy: this covers damage or excessive cleaning. The security deposit will be refunded within two weeks of your stay.
    Rate Chart includes 10% Douglas County Tax and a $135 cleaning/hot tub service
  • A $300 Refundable deposit must be added to the total rate for each stay.
    In Most cases there is a 3 NIGHT MINIMUM. Longer stays may be required for bookings more than 30 days in advance during peak summer/ ski seasons.

The downstairs bedroom has it's own private bath as well as a color TV with remote in the room. The Hot Tub room is adjacent to the bedroom. The spacious upstairs living room dining and kitchen area is furnished with a roomy dining table which comfortably seats eight. The adjacent granite bar area has four bar stools for guest use. The kitchen and dining area have pergo flooring and the front entry is clad in slate. The gourmet kitchen features new hickory cabinets, granite counter tops and top of the line appliances. There is a side by side refrigerator with door icemaker/dispenser, a microwave and coffeemaker and dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with everything from a mixer to a crock pot. The two car garage has direct access from the townhome interior. (Great for those snowy days when you don't want to unload your skis or scrape ice from your windshield!) There is a washer/dryer in the garage available for guest use and an enclosed hot tub room.

Tahoe’s record breaking snowfalls afford and incredible array of adventure; snow tubing, boarding, downhill skiing, cross country, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, ice skating, nostalgic sleigh rides, winter carnivals, or perhaps just snuggling up to a crackling fireplace with a warm beverage and a good book.

We just returned from our skiing/snowboarding adventure in Tahoe and consider it one of the best travel destinations ever. Snowbear Lodge played a significant part in our enjoyment. We had 12 adults in our group and found the lodge extremely accommodating. The two best perks: kitchen & hot tub. The kitchen/living area is huge, we cooked breakfasts and dinners for the whole group. We also made daily use of both the private and the community hot tubs. Slopes, casinos, grocery stores, entertainment, etc were only minutes away. Nancy was kind, very cooperative and extremely responsive to any questions we had. Nearly half of our group had never been on a winter holiday before and every single one of them cannot wait to go back. Thank you for the great experience!

This was an awesome place to stay! It was literally minutes from Heavenly and the Casino's. The beds were super comfortable, showers have great water pressure, the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, dishes, cups, and the living space was HUGE! The best part was having the jacuzzi in the house. It was very relaxing after a day of boarding. I 100% recommend teh Snowbear lodge! Great value, great place!

We just returned from Snowbear Lodge where we stayed from the day after Christmas through New Year's. My wife and I have two grown and married children who each have one child. We all gathered together for the entire week. The sleeping arrangements were fine as everyone had their own room. The hot tub was really nice and hot after a day of snow skiing. We enjoyed show skiing, snow tubing, and sleigh riding. We also built snowmen and had the usual snow ball fights. The area around the lodge is close to the woods so I enjoyed walking through the National Forrest grounds and really enjoying God's wonderful creation. Just around the corner you can see Lake Tahoe and the wonderful blue of the water. We were blessed with about 2 feet of snow just before we arrived. The roads were all clear however they were snow covered when we arrived. The drive and steps had been cleaned for us and the unit warm and ready for us. All in all, we all really enjoyed our time and would return again for sure. Everything is so close. Grocery store one mile, the strip one mile, and ski resorts one mile. What more could you ask. Thanks Nancy for sharing your home with us and making our holiday so special!!!

We went to Tahoe to celebrate our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Half the family stayed in Snowbear, while the other half stayed next door at Snowbird. Snowbear was by far the better of the two. The interior of Snowbear is so appealing, as it is clean and bright. The kitchen was more than adequate in space and kitchen utensils to cook for that many people. Nancy was wonderful to work with, very prompt communication and even helped with reserving the Clubhouse for our party. Should I have the opportunity to return to Lake Tahoe, I definitely would want to rent one of Nancy’s condos again.

Our stay at Snowbear was great. The condo was the perfect size, even though we had 12 people it never felt crowded. We were there for my daughters 21st birthday celebration and she gave it a big thumbs up! The whole process of renting it went very smooth and we would definitely stay here again on our next Tahoe trip.
