PUERTO MORELOS LUXURY BEACH CONDO

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our weeklong college roommate getaway! Puerto Morelos is a beautiful, quiet city that is very friendly and welcoming to tourists. The reaction when we got to our condo was: "wow, you gotta be kidding me!" It's beautiful. The rooms are spacious, everything is modern, the beds and furniture are comfortable, the space is well laid-out, and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. There are two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and shower, a balcony off each bedroom plus another one off the living room, another bathroom in the main living space, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an open comfortable sitting area. It had everything we needed, including beach toys! The condo is directly on the beach--we laid out and played in the ocean nearly every day. The beach is not overcrowded at all--we had plenty of space to ourselves, we always felt safe, there was great live-music throughout the day and into the early evening right in front of the condo on the beachfront, and the swimming was great! We loved our daily 10-minute beach walk into the town square, where we found many great restaurant options with tasty food and fun atmospheres. The building's caretaker, Ramon, lives right on sight and took incredibly good care of us. He brought us to and from the Cancun airport, gave us a little tour of the city on our way in and helped us get settled in the condo, and was attentive to our every question and need. If we needed something, we would send a quick email in the morning as we were making coffee, and he would be by within the hour, already having arranged trips as we requested or ready to answer any question that had arisen. Everything was perfect!! We definitely hope and plan to come back again!

This condo in the sleepy little town of Puerto Morelos is a true gem! The views are incredible and Ramon, the on-site manager could not have been more kind and helpful. He generously provided us with information about the town, snorkeling and so many other things. He is well-educated and well-traveled with an excellent command of the English language. We even communicated with Ramon via e-mail when we didn’t see him around the area. He was always quick to respond. The owners are fortunate to have such a wonderful manager. Even the workers were nice and polite.

The beach is sandy and cleaned/raked daily. On the walk into the town square you have the option to walk the beach or the main road. Each offers a different and interesting view of the surroundings. The restaurants are many and we enjoyed some delicious and sometimes eclectic meals. It was great fun. A few “must try” items are the mango margarita and shrimp cerviche with mango at the beach bar just to the north of the condos.

All-in-all we had a wonderful experience. The owners were very prompt in their responses and were endlessly patient with my multitude of questions. It was a pleasure from start to finish! We would not hesitate to recommend this condo and definitely hope to return.

We were very pleased with the condo and the area. The unit is big with lots of chances to see the beautiful view of the Sea. While we were there the beach was cleaned daily and the grounds of the place are kept lovely and neat at all times. The manager of the complex lives on-site and the complex is quiet as well as the street. The walk into the town square where there is a small grocery store and many restaurants takes about 10 minutes, but it is such a nice walk that we never minded. Puerto Morelos is very safe feeling and the town is working hard at improving its streets, parks, sewerage system, beach accesses and we were very impressed with their vision and progress.
