Hub’s Hideaway is named after our grandfather, Herbert Feeler. Known by everyone as Hub, he worked hard his whole life on the family farm in the Ozarks. Hub enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he relished the times when he could get away for a little while to fish on the river—many times spending the night on the river bank, running his trotlines and yoyo’s. We’d like to think he would have enjoyed having a place like our cabin to come to.

We purchased this home for it's location in the beautiful Little Red River Valley. The home was in disrepair and we wanted to make it into a comfortable getaway. Extensive renovations were performed including: Complete new hickory flooring, pine vaulted ceilings, central heat and air, new roof, new bathrooms and kitchen, glass wall installed facing the river, re-screen front deck, install hot tub, exterior paint, and exterior grounds work.
Private and secluded setting in the woods and next to the river that flows into Greers Ferry lake. It's quiet and peaceful here. Boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, bike riding are activities at the cabin. The amenities include satellite TV, larger hot tub, wood burning fireplace, porch swing, and outside fire ring. There is an aluminum fishing boat tied up at the water's edge for use by our renters. Paddles and life jackets are provided. Bring your own gas or trolling motor if you like. Free Wi-Fi provided - data limitations don't allow for streaming video but great for surfing the internet or streaming music. There's a pretty good AT&T LTE . You can drive back up the hill and get Verizon reception.
Good news. The boat was there where we leave it. It's tied up and upside down on the bank. We leave it up on the bank a little ways in case the water rises while we're gone. And upside down so it won't fill up with rain.
Please feel free to call me while you are there if something isn't working or you need assistance with anything. It's important to us that you have a good time.
We loved every minute of our getaway at Hubs. The cabin was very clean and tidy. King bed was comfy, nice chairs in living room. The TV was great and had every channel we could've ever wanted. My husband loved flipping back and forth to multiple football games. The wifi was very handy and worked great. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. It was wonderful and relaxing on the porch. We spent one whole day out on the boat. It was wonderful and we took so many great pics! We also brought our food and cooked at the cabin every meal. We used the grill it was very handy. This was the perfect getaway for us, away from everything. We will return.
We were very pleased with our stay at Hub's Hideaway. It was peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious as well as rustic. Very private, clean and comfortable. Excellent value. We will be back and will gladly recommend to our friends.
We enjoyed being in your cabin, I think we are going to put the same flooring in our house. The only thing bad was Arkansas getting beat in over time to Texas.
This place was just what we were looking for. We wanted to get away and fish on our vacation and we found the best place for it. We took the boat out on the water and it was nice and peaceful. Saw a deer while we were out and about. The cabin was very tidy and very enjoyable when we were not out by the water. The towns were close enough to get any supplies we needed and had plenty options for food in the area. We would definately recommend this place if your looking for peace and quiet.
An immaculate cabin with a breathtaking view! Short walk to the river where we enjoyed kayak fishing and riding the jet ski to the lake. The water was crystal clear and the scenery was amazing. Woke up in the morning drinking coffee on the screen in porch while watching the deer graze in the front yard. Relaxed in the evening after the water sports in a huge hot tub. I could not even imagine a place so wonderful as this place is. I recommend it to couples who need to get away and have time to themselves. I would also recommend it to families as it is spacious and the children will be in a safe environment. Thank you, Stuart, for allowing us to have a week in this paradise. Enjoyed every minute of it! Tammy
