Hub’s Hideaway is named after our grandfather, Herbert Feeler. Known by everyone as Hub, he worked hard his whole life on the family farm in the Ozarks. Hub enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he relished the times when he could get away for a little while to fish on the river—many times spending the night on the river bank, running his trotlines and yoyo’s. We’d like to think he would have enjoyed having a place like our cabin to come to.

Good news. The boat was there where we leave it. It's tied up and upside down on the bank. We leave it up on the bank a little ways in case the water rises while we're gone. And upside down so it won't fill up with rain.
Please feel free to call me while you are there if something isn't working or you need assistance with anything. It's important to us that you have a good time.
We purchased this home for it's location in the beautiful Little Red River Valley. The home was in disrepair and we wanted to make it into a comfortable getaway.
