Our family home is known as 'At Last' and is located on the beach in beautiful Ortley Beach, New Jersey. We have been coming to this location for 30 years. There are no sidewalks, boardwalks or roads between you and the crystal-clear Atlantic Ocean. Ortley Beach is conveniently located between Pt Pleasant Beach and Seaside Heights and is right next door to family-friendly Lavalette, NJ. The front yard, off of the main deck, is your own private beach. 25 feet from the front deck is the public beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Fishing, surfing, kayaking and swimming are right at your doorstep.

Ample parking located directly behind the house. There are beautiful Atlantic Ocean views throughout the house. This is truly a unique house and one of only two directly on the beach in Ortley. No streets to cross, perfect for families with children.

At Last has been completely renovated in 2012. The house has 6 bedrooms and a pull-out couch along with 4 full baths. Plenty of space to sleep 12-14 people. Most rooms in the house have spectacular unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. This includes a brand new kitchen and living room on the first floor as well as a large sitting room and bar area on the upper floor that leads out to an Ocean facing deck where you can see up and down the Jersey shore.

We stayed at this house for a whole month, just off-season (Sept) and even though we had a week of rain at the end, the first 3 weeks were absolutely perfect. The house is RIGHT ON THE BEACH and so convenient when traveling with kids. The waves crashing could be heard 24/7 and the sunrises are not to be missed. The house is comfortable and was perfect for us. We used the back 1st floor deck all the time. The owners were very responsive when we had an issue with the DVD player (dropped off a new one). This was our first time renting this place, we've already requested next year same time (after Labor Day)!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
