We have named the cottage Satquin after an Abenaki Native American village located on the southwest side of the Kennebec River. It is believed Satquin was later changed to Sequin
Upon arrival at the property, you'll realize that you are in the heart of a 100 year old vacation community with other bungalows and cottages surrounding you. A great place to bike or walk, you will surely want to take the one minute walk to the beach first. Arriving at the beach, you'll instantly be overwhelmed with the beauty of the area. At the mouth the Kennebec River where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, there is plenty of boat activity to watch as well. The avid fisherman will surely rush back to the car for their fishing pole.
