Casa Santa Rita - Luxury, Value and in Town Location!

This was our first time staying in the Santa Ynez valley. We typically stay near downtown Santa Barbara, but we'd been wanting to spend an entire weekend exploring the valley without the hassle of a long drive each morning/night. Casa Santa Rita was a perfect home base for us. Short drive from Buellton/Solvang, as well as Los Olivos and everywhere in between. It's located in a very peaceful / quiet neighborhood just outside of Buellton and close to the 101. You can park in the driveway, as well as the street so loading/unloading the car/luggage/etc is a breeze. There is a small backyard with some fruit trees. We ate breakfast out there every morning. The house is stocked with the basics – everything you'd need to fix lunch, dinner, etc. Overall, place was very clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, Internet was fast, etc... Everything that you'd expect! Plus the comfort of a home vs. being stuck in a hotel room. I'd definitely stay here again.

The house was in excellent shape and ideally met the needs of 3 couples in town for a wedding. We appreciated the effort the owner had gone to leaving information about local restaurants. We were disappointed that while the advertized location of the house was Santa Ynez the actual location was Buellton.

We stayed here with another couple on a wine tasting weekend, and fell in love with Casa Santa Rita. The house was clean, spacious and very affordable. Set in a quiet neighborhood, centrally-located to the entire valley - the ideal getaway. The owner was very friendly and helpful when it came to getting tips on great local wineries.
