My family has been spending our vacation time in Colorado for more than twenty-five years! We decided that Vail was the place to be, as it met all of our various outdoor needs. My family are all midwesterners, and we absolutely love the mountains and fresh, clean air....
The Racquet Club, in East Vail, was the only location we ever considered. I like the feeling of the quiet beauty during the day, and the magnificent stars above at night. We don't hear or see all the bustling activities and noises of Vail Village. Going home to this condo is so peaceful after a wonderful, but exhausting day of activities.
Sitting out on the balcony every morning, just watching the current flow, is a joy. Our unit is over the bend in the creek, and we really get the sounds of rushing water. We have a great park and playground on the property, as well as a small lake and park around the corner from the condo. I bike into town every afternoon. The bike/walking path goes along the creek and golf course all the way into town. It is a little under five miles to town. There is fabulous food and shopping, not only in Vail, but in the city of Silverthorne, which is about twenty five miles east of Vail..they have a huge designer discount mall. Beaver Creek is about fifteen minutes west of Vail..Great grocery shopping in West Vail, as well!
