La Jolla Shores Beach Cottage is as described and pictured as above and then some... can you smell the ocean and wake up to its delicate roar, can you jump out of bed and go for a run on the beach, breathe this exciting humid air, come back to cottage's lush garden, sit down by the waterfall with the cup of tea, smell the lemons from the nearby tree and listen to morning birds?
Yes, you can - because this place has it all.
We stayed there for 4 days, 4 adults and 3 kids and by the end of our time we felt that we did not manage to enjoy this house and surrounding property as much as it deserved. The house itself is very spacious. Plenty of towels, linens, and other little "homey" details which add greatly to the comfort and value of this place. There is a nice place to eat cross the street from the house with the beachfront seating. Trader Joes is a 5 minutes drive on a huge plaza with Whole Foods and restaurants to choose from. The walkable distance to the ocean is unbeatable, we walked, we run, we played, we even did yoga on the beach. Miss Joyce, the owner, is easy to reach and very pleasant to communicate with. The cottage and surroundings are very clean and private. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to have our perfect vacation!
