Our beautiful villa is located on the grounds of the famous ***** Star hotel, LaQuinta Resort & Spa currently managed by Waldorf Astoria. Our home is located at 77438 Vista Flora (villa is marked 1762) and is just a few minutes walk to the famous resort spa. PLEASE BE AWARE: of listings that imply they are on the hotel grounds, you need a car to get to the lobby & restaurants should you book one of these! I note that nearly every person advertising "La Quinta Resort & Spa", are located miles away, in most cases ... including "Santa Rosa Cove" (miles away) and "Legacy Villas", they are a fifteen to twenty minute brisk walk at best. Our home is the only home (except one other) that is actually on the famous hotel grounds! Of the two homes advertised on VRBO (both are mine) the villas are closer to the hotel, restaurants, shopping and the spa.

JUST INSTALLED: A 42 inch flatscreen TV and working to get unlimited access free of charge to Netflix for your viewing pleasure.

This home is a one story villa with fabulous views of all the mountains. One balcony (Which can seat ten) has spectacular views of the mountains and the famous resort. From the second balcony - also with a seating area, you see the large pool and southern mountain views. My wife and I enjoy these balconies while sipping great margaritas, you will enjoy them too ... even if it's just iced tea. Please see our private web site by clicking on "additional pictures" below. This magnificent property (the resort) is world famous, and by using your search engine you can confirm this. It is legendary for it's spectacular surroundings, including landscaping, the lush flowers that are everywhere, ancient yucca's, and weeping willows. As you walk through these grounds you will encounter wild birds, including hawks, ducks ... and running between them on the ground - dozens of road runners.

The hotel features live music near the main restaurants, ideal for your favorite drinks. Starbucks coffee house on the grounds serves early risers, who can sit in the morning sun - surrounded by one of the most beautiful hotels in the world.

A private maseur we use is available upon request. He is considered the deserts best maseur and has reasonable rates when you book my home.

The owner Michael DuBasso is a director of a non profit foundation. Donations received by his foundation go to Veteran Hospitals throughout the US in support of our soldiers.

This luxury home was acquired for the very private pool and the surrounding views, especially mountain views.

What makes this villa unique

The Spa Villas were built in four stages. Ours is in the third stage. We have been coming to the resort for 30 years and carefully watched each stage designed and built. I realized as soon as I saw stage 3 this was the best location, a great & secluded private pool which is surrounded by lush landscaping and just minutes from the Spa and fitness center. All the other stages have draw backs, mostly they are clustered together so you have little or no view, the last stage is too close to the loud laundry room with only a lap pool.

Notes: Although the pool is shared this very private location is usually only occupied by my guest, the patio balcony is very large with fabulous mountain views, very/very quiet but just minutes from the hotels restaurant & spa.

Wow…what a wonderful trip!

The unit was perfect for our family of 3! The views and light in this 1 bedroom were outstanding. We made friends with all of our neighbors hanging out in the pool literally right outside our door. We played tennis everyday for hours. The weather was just beautiful every single day – and we stayed 10 days. We are all sad to leave and cannot wait to plan our next trip. Stephanie

My husband and I throroughly enjoyed a very relaxing time in this accomodating Villa at La Quinta Resort. Easy walking distance to the Spa and Resort restaurants. Fantastic views to enjoy, both at sunrise and sunset.

Absolutely incredible!!!

La Quinta resort is our favorite place to get away. We have stayed through the hotel,tennis villas, and the Santa Rosa Cove condos. This was by far our total favorite. The Villa was beautiful. The "private" pool was right at the bottom of the stairs. It felt like our own. We brought our 2 mini aussies. Michael had no problem what so ever with that. The resort is very dog friendly. We had breakfast at 26 on the patio with our girls.There were other dgs there also. Renting the Villa was incrediably easy. Michael ,the owner, was very accommodating. Down to letting us stay til 2:00 on our check out day.. We look forward to staying there again, and again and......

Amazing Villa with a spectacular view!

Our family stayed in this Villa for our Spring Break and it was so beautiful. There is a large deck just off the kitchen with a great view of the mountains. We ate most of our meals outside and chose to relax there too.

We would highly recommend this unit for a great relaxing getaway. I think it is one of the best located Villas on the property.
