Thank you so much Sherry! We really enjoyed our stay. It was so quiet - A great place to get my report done. Thanks again and we hope to return sometime.
Our stay at the Creekside Mountain Cabin was so wonderful! We stayed Presidents Day weekend for a Ski trip and the home had everything we were looking for. It was quiet, secluded and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Both the property Manager and the owner herself called to make sure we were ok after we had a little snow storm, which made me feel really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
Not a single complaint! Our stay was exactly what we were looking for! Cabin is secluded down a dirt road while there is another cabin close you don't feel like it plus it was empty. A little creek runs across the property with a fire pit right next to it which was perfect for us adults to sit and relax while our 4 year old explored. Take a walk down the dirt road and follow the stream with all its little waterfalls. Inside the cabin feels like home. The wood work is gorgeous and smells amazing! Everything you could ever need is inside the cabin from cooking items ( put the crockpot to good use!) to extra blankets, flashlights, washer and dryer, toys for lil kids and tons of movies for kids and adults on those cold or rainy day/nights. Our 2nd night their my 4 year old got sick in the middle of the night and we even found a thermometer in medicine cabinet. Highly highly reccomend this cabin! Couldn't have been more pleased. Oh and they allow pets! My 7 year old boxer was like a different dog being able to roam and explore!
The weekend at the Creekside Mountain Cabin was wonderful. The cabin was very clean and full of any supplies that you may need (dishes, paper products, bathroom supplies etc). The property manager even stopped by to see if we were settled in nicely and if we needed anything which we thought was very nice! Great time and stay, will definitely return again!
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. It is at the end of a lonnnnng driveway so that you have no traffic and you cannot hear any street noise. You're about 6 miles from town, so close enough to do anything, but far enough away to feel like you're 100 miles from nowhere. Sherry stocks everything you could possibly think of that you would need. Actually, we have stayed at several places on VRBO and this one is probably the best at having all you'd need. Very clean inside and beautiful landscaping make this a great place for a getaway. We spent 3 Days/2 Nights there and will do it again on our trip back up there. No complaints at all about this place. Easy to find to fairly easy access, though the driveway in and out is a one laner through the mountain. Kids will have plenty of room to go roam and romp, and adults can enjoy the deck and chairs to watch the scenery. Listening to the creek running in front of the house was the icing on the cake.
We stayed two nights. Very comfortable cabin. The creek is nice to listen to. Close to west Jefferson for places to eat. Overall great place. I do recommend
This little cabin had everything anyone would need except clothes and food. Very cozy and comfortable; isolated but only a couple of miles to town. Owner and property manager are lovely to deal with. We especially loved spending time out on the deck listening to the creek and ate our meals out there. They have seriously provided things we've never had in pricier accommodations such as every kitchen item you could ever want and toiletries for anything you might have forgotten. We got so much good rest and relaxation; will definitely stay there again every time we go to visit relatives and friends.
