Tranquil, Charming, Cottage, Dock, Ramp, Best Location to All

We chose this site for 2 very specific reasons we had 2 teenage boys and I was bringing a boat. With these 2 things in mind this place worked out perfectly, it was within walking distance of the beach and time square for the boys, it was just off the main road enough to be quiet and with a boat ramp and a boat dock it was perfect for me to launch my 16 ft. boat and keep it in the water at the dock the whole week. The expansive back yard patio was also utilised for an impromptu BBQ we had. Two other couples and there kids staying not too far away from us came over one evening for food and drinks. There was plenty of patio furniture available and the gas Weber grill made it really easy to grill up some fresh caught fish.

There weren't many things that I had issue with at all. Most were just little things that could easily be over looked, but they're things none the less. The lights in the garage were confusing since the switch was in the house by the front door, they were labelled but it was a pain when you needed them and you had to walk back through or around the house to turn them on. Also, it is a 2 bathroom, but the second bathroom is in the garage. Again no big deal, but with 2 teenage boys taking showers constantly it was inconvenient to go outside down stairs and into the garage to use the restroom or get ready to go out for the evening. As for the dock there were no cleats to tie to so you had to tie off to the dock post, and there was no rub rail on the dock either so there are a few new scratches on the boat, and I'm missing a couple registration stickers, but nothing that can't be fixed or easily replaced. It's a small fishing boat so it's no big deal, but if you're planning on bringing something more expensive be prepared.

Other than these minor issues we had a great time, the kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of beach amenities, wagon, umbrella, chairs, bikes, you name it. Plenty of parking, the two other couples I mentioned, any time they came down to time square they parked here and walked over. All in all it was a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to rent this spot again. If it weren't for the few things mentioned it would be a 5 star place.

Also, the owners were super to work with, we made a mistake with the initial payment totally our fault and they worked with us to get it lined out. all our correspondence was friendly and prompt
