Salmon River Lodge is a spacious 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath custom home located on the edge of the Salmon River in Welches, Oregon. You will get lost in the tranquil views of the large forest that surround the home and the soothing sounds of the river. This home makes the perfect venue for family and friends gathering together or for a getaway retreat. It is ideally located only 1.5 miles from The Resort at The Mountain. The Great Room is accented with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with the focal point being the 2-story river rock fireplace - perfect for roasting s’mores after a long day enjoying the many outdoor activities available. It also features a large leather wrap around sofa that lends itself nicely to relaxing by the fire and taking in the pristine views of nature right outside your window. The dining room and large kitchen lend themselves to memorable gatherings of friends and family and room for plenty of cooks in the kitchen.

  • Children under 5 stay free
    (2 night minimum, holidays require 3 night minimum) $250 security deposit to reserve dates. $190 cleaning fee. Check in: 4pm Check out: 11am Rental fee due 45 days prior to arrival, except holidays in which rental fee is due 60 days prior to arrival or immediately if arrival is less than 45 days out or 60 days out for holidays. Cancellations or changes made more than 45 days in advance will not be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellation or changes made less than 45 days in advance will forfeit the full amount paid, except for holidays which is 60 day out.


    Spring - April 1 to May 21 $235/night for 6 people - $20 per person thereafter with maximum of 13
    Summer - May 22 to September 5 $295/night for 6 people - $20 per person thereafter with maximum of 13

The spacious master suite has a private entrance to the deck as well as pristine views of the lush forest, tranquil river as well as it's own TV with DVD/VCR combo. The 1st floor also offers a private den with a queen size bed and a separate game room with a futon, Foosball table, pool table and air hockey table. Upstairs you will find a loft, which boasts more spectacular views of the old growth forest and impressive views of the river. Two of the bedrooms offer their own TVs as well as queen size beds. The third bedroom upstairs is the perfect retreat for the children with a trundle bed and bunk beds that offer a full size bed on the bottom bunk. Outside you can wash away the cares of the day while you take in the sounds of the river, beautiful views and sounds of nature.

You will also find a fantastic fire pit perfect for telling tall tales of your day on the mountain. You are just 11 miles from Government Camp. Amenities: Direct TV hooked up on 4 TVs with DVD/VCR, CD player with MP3 media capability, Unlimited long distance, wireless broadband available, fire pit, 2 story river rock fireplace, board and card games, separate game room with futon, pool table, Foosball and Air Hockey, separate Den with queen size bed, private entrance to deck from master, BBQ grill, spacious deck, gourmet kitchen, washer and dryer, central vacuum, linens provided. Staying here is like visiting paradise, yet you feel right at home! Everything is provided so you can just enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Mount Hood region. The home is steps from the Salmon River and walking distance to its trailhead. If you are vacationing with your family, do yourself a favor and stay at the Salmon River Lodge!

We absolutely LOVED your home! So relaxing and nicely appointed. Had all the comforts of home. The sound of the stream was so soothing; we could hear it throughout the house. We will be back! Linda S
