Hi, I am a 36 years old real estate broker living in Amsterdam
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2004
The location is perfect, it is very close to the centre.
It is a very nice area, walking distance to centre, Vondelpark, museums, very nice restaurants, shops and cafes in the area.
Great host, she gave us direction from the airport and graciously meet us at the tram stop and took us to the apartment. The location whas awesome only 30 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes or so to Dam sq. The apartment is central to everything. it was very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Amsterdam. Gregg H
Apartment is located in a residential locality and found very safe for my family. Special thanks to Olivia for the groceries in the kitchen, Kid also enjoyed the DVD collection. few things to note, Narrow staircase finding it difficult to move your luggage up, TV with limited English channels. Good deal and recommend to stay if you are family of 3 or 4.
This is a great apartment. Very comfortable, has everything one needs. Olivia is a great host. She helped us during our stay and gave excellent advice. Would like to return.
As the title suggests we loved our stay at the apartment. Not only does it offer a fantastic location with the Tram line, restaurants, shops, market, coffee shop and parks all nearby, also the owner has gone the extra mile by creating a modern furnished apartment offering all amenities including a vast range of DVD’s and CD’s for those lazy days.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted to find a fully stocked fridge from cheese to chocolate. Lovely touch!
I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment for future stays.
A very comfortable & clean 2-room apt. with a more than pleasant and helpful host. As mentioned by others, not exactly luxurious, but all in all a good deal for the money.
My husband and I spent 9 comfortable nights in Olivia's apartment that is near Amsterdam's Vondelpark. As other reviewers have noted, the apartment is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with tram access located around the corner.
This small apartment worked for us because the bedroom is a separate room from the small sitting/living area and kitchen. We appreciated that we could shut the bedroom door and a hallway door if one person wanted quiet while the other is up and around. The toilet is also in a separate room from the shower/bath and sink. The kitchen is well appointed and Olivia supplied some 'starter' food for our visit. The backyard looks out onto green spaces that are shared with apartments across the way. A small, modest balcony also offers a feeling of expansiveness.
The kitchen and bathroom have recently been renovated and everything was sparkling clean upon our arrival. There are no pictures on the walls and the place has not been painted following the renovation and has sparse furniture. These things probably keep me from describing the apartment as truly 'luxury' but, again, it's comfortable and quiet. Olivia was very responsive to our needs and bought a floor lamp and a coffee table for the apartment when we said we missed this furniture to be truly comfortable. The bedroom, which has a firm queen-size bed, doesn't have reading lamps or side tables but Olivia said she is considering adding them as well. We used our suitcases as bedroom side tables but missed a reading lamp.
By the way, when visiting this city we highly recommend the "I AMsterdam" card they sell in 24 hour, 48 hour and 72 hour increments depending on how long you'll be visiting. It's well worth the cost as it gives you unlimited tram/bus rides and access to numerous museums.

This apartment is as described, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully updated and the rest is a work in progress, so I would not necessarily call it "luxury". That said, it was wonderfully comfortable, clean and convenient and Olivia was very helpful and kindly supplied us with some food and juice on arrival. We would absolutely recommend it!! Be prepared to carry your suitcase up one very narrow flight of stairs.
