Large screened sun deck and 'solar heated' pool:
If the day is hot and the spirit is weak where better to spend your day than alongside (or even in) your private 'solar heated' pool. It's by no means Olympic size but feels just as good when the temperature is high; the pool has a light for evening décor/swimming and the patio area also has lights, table, parasol, 6 chairs, 2 sun loungers and 2 rocking chairs.
backs on to a freshwater water-way about 40 to 50 feet from the patio area. It is situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area where wildlife is abundant and protected by state law. Please do not feed the ducks!
Leisure activities:
The nearest beaches 10 to 15 minutes drive away where you can sunbathe, swim, snorkel, go sea fishing, scuba diving, boat rides, collect shells, fish or generally relax. Most beaches have on-site amenities shower facilities, toilets, barbecues. Arranged fishing excursions, river or sea trips, or jet-skiing can all be arranged locally and for the more energetic, a pleasant round of golf – all are on offer. Port Richey is close to some of the finest Florida Gulf Coast courses, many within 30 minutes or less drive of the villa. Or just relax by the warm waters of the ‘Gulf’ with the 'ice box' and a good book!
Just up the road:
An 18-cinema complex, bowling, roller/ice skating, the Show Palace Theatre, (musicals, big bands etc.), local craft fairs, Pasco's own rodeo, Casino cruises (from docks near Hooters). Port Richey offers; international cuisine, fast foods, reasonably-priced restaurants. Catches for seafood, the 'Longhorn' for steaks, Kally-K's - 'early bird specials' salad/soup/dessert ‘a-plenty' main course under a 'fiver'! Eat before five and it's almost half-price! Still hungry? Stacey's Smorgasbord all-you-can-eat or Sams at Hudson, enjoy good food and watch a wonderful Floridian sunset. Close at hand Busch Gardens and the Tampa Aquarium, Cypress Gardens, Weeki Wachee Springs etc….. Theme parks of Orlando and Disney are approximately a 90 minute drive away. We think once you’ve visited the GULF COAST you’ll be back!
