Sleeps five comfortably. Beautiful sunset view of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park at your front door. Little Traverse Lake is clean and great for swimming, fishing and water sports. You will love this 'cottage' experience as a family, group or as a romantic retreat.

Amenities:: Gas grills, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, deck on lakefront, dock, rowboat, canoe, kayaks, cable, DVD, VCR, indoor fireplace, picnic table, outdoor fire pit, firewood.

Activities:: Swimming, boating, hiking, biking, dining, shopping, relaxing or just doing nothing.

Area:: One mile from the 70,000 acre Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, six miles from Leland/Fishtown and Glen Arbor. Great shopping, dining and back to nature experiences await. Only 20 miles from Traverse City.

Directly adjacent to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, these cottages provide ample opportunity for hiking, sightseeing, exploration and enjoying and experiencing our environment. Halfway between the towns of Leland and Glen Arbor and only 20 miles from Traverse City, you can endulge in winery tours, dining, shopping or just enjoy the lake at your doorstep. The variety of things to do is overwhelming.

Golf: Adjacent to many golf courses, one within a mile so opportunites for the golfing experiences are there for the taking.

The cottage was perfect for us. The kids loved the lake. The water was really shallow for a long way out which was great for a 9 year old. He played in the water all day with the dog and I didn't have to worry about them. The cottage had everything that we needed including firewood and a kayak and boat. We were only about 10 min. from Sleeping Bear Dunes. The other lakes in the area were nice but seemed quite crowded. Little Traverse Lake was very quiet and relaxing.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
