Morgan Ridge Cottage is located in the North Georgia Mountains in Towns County, Georgia. Hiawassee lies cradled in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest and Nantahala National Forest which together make up almost 2 million acres. The Chattahoochee National Forest consists of 750,000 acres and includes 10 wilderness areas, 2,200 miles of rivers and trout streams, numerous waterfalls, and a hiker's paradise with over 450 miles of trails. Hiawassee is home to Hiawassee Antique Mall, the largest antique mall in North Georgia. Hiawassee is also on the Georgia Wine Trail in Georgia Wine Country. The Georgia Wine Trail consists of 14 wineries of which 8 are located within 30 to 45 minutes.

My goal in going to Morgan Ridge was a quiet, relaxing vacation with my daughter. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the ammenities were fantastic. Whether you want to sit on the spacious rear deck and enjoy the view or take a rigorous hike to magnifcant waterfalls that are closeby, the area has something for everyone. I have already recommended your cottage to family and friends. Thank you for being so gracious.

Perfect family getaway.

Enjoyed a little weekend trip to Hiawassee and this cabin was perfect. Just pay attention to the directions and you will find it easily! Although there are other houses around it felt secluded enough to enjoy some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Enjoyed drinking my morning cup of coffee on the deck and watching the squirrels jumping around the trees. There is plenty to do around Hiawassee or if you prefer you can do nothing. A short drive from the cabin is a fairly short trail to go hiking with the young ones and there is a playground/beach area nearby on hwy. 76. If you go you must go to Michaelee's Chocolate Cafe - it is amazing. But everything you need for a weekend getaway or a week stay is here at this cabin - we can't wait to get back and are going to stay at this cabin. Thanks Delaney family for this cabin!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Morgan Ridge. The cottage was tastefully decorated and offered some very nice ammenities. It was truly a "Home Away from Home"!! We were so taken by the little cottage that we reserved it for 4 days in October to enjoy the changing of the leaves.

Great location

Initially we were shocked to find the cabin was at the end of a cul-de-sac with neighbors but soon realized how PERFECT the LOCATION truly was. The neighbors were friendly, there is a hiking trail less than 3 miles away...and if you find yourself on the road that leaves Hiawassee, passes through Helen and Blairsville to return to the cabin; there are some of the most amazing waterfalls along the way completely free of charge. After hiking up and down mountains all day Morgan Ridge was the warmest home away from home anyone could wish for.

Very cute cottage in a great location near Hiawassee. We found the cottage to be comfortable, well maintained, and clean. We enjoyed our stay, relaxing over Labor Day weekend. The only drawback was a really weak Wi-Fi signal, which we should have verified before reserving. The owners (and their neighbor) provided excellent service.
