Taking its name from sea turtles that frequent nearby Kahaluu Beach, Hale Honu is an oceanfront dream house. Located 4.5 miles south of Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, Hale Honu has four bedrooms, including two spacious master suites. Each bedroom has a lanai with spectacular ocean view. Built in 2004, Hale Honu welcomes you with a spacious courtyard, wading pool with cascading waterfalls and a 6'x6' Jacuzzi with a stunning ocean view. It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and top of the line appliances. Ocean access from the house offers fishing and tide pool viewing. For the less adventuresome, lounge chairs and a sandy 'kids beach' provide a relaxing setting for oceanfront play. After enjoying the ocean, guests can shower off in our tiled, outdoor shower. Hale Honu is located on the sunny coast of Kona and is known for exceptional weather year-round.

What an amazing place! Right on the water. A dream home. Roomy, very clean and loved the kitchen. Wayne was available during the stay and communicated well. Would definitely stay here again! Enjoyed the nearby snorkel beach park. The dipping pool was very popular with our kids.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
