The living room leads out to the glass-enclosed sun room (which is not heated) and also to the large outdoor deck overlooking the lake, which is equipped for entertaining and family cookouts with a gas grill and outdoor dining furnishings.
On the other end of the house, you have two fully furnished bedrooms and a central bath. One bedroom contains a queen, while the other contains a queen and twin. Over the adjacent garage, the kids will love the fully furnished room with full futon, two twins, kids table, dresser, etc. This space has a window air conditioning unit but no bath facilities.
The entire group will love the back yard and lakeside area. The shaded canopy of the trees makes sitting out by the lake very enjoyable with the cool breeze, and the kids will love playing on the sandy beach. There is a dock provided as well. If you do not have your own boat, we can provide names of local companies who can deliver a pontoon, fishing boat, jet skis or trampoline to you.
The peninsula itself is a residential resort atmosphere, and is very quiet and relaxing. You can take the entire family on their bikes around the peninsula where you can enjoy the lake view from all sides. 25mph enforced speed limit adds to your biking enjoyment.
After spending your days on the lake or taking in local attractions such as Sleeping Bear Natl. Park, downtown Traverse City boutiques and restaurants, casinos, or sightseeing throughout the quaint villages and towns making up our area, come back to sit around the fire pit, enjoying 'smores and stories about the day.
