Mahina Surf # 219 is a beautiful ocean front fully furnished condominium with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. The endangered sea turtles are often spotted here in shallow waters and resting on the shoreline in the afternoons. The best snorkeling right out front.

It is located on Maui's leeward shore, renowned for it's year round sunshine, cool trade winds, and pristine beaches. Our condo is one of fifty-six ocean front low rise condos. The Mahina Surf complex is situated on two wonderful acres of highly maintained lush tropical gardens accented by colorful native plants. You can walk among the grounds and see exotic flowers of many varieties. You can enjoy sea turtles along the shore line in front of the property in the early afternoon.

Our unit # 219 is very spacious and it is fully equipped with very nice and comfortable furnishings. You can step outside on the deck and enjoy a beautiful sunset or just relax watching the blue, sparkling ocean in a quiet morning. During the winter months the waters off West Maui play host to migrating humpback whales, putting on spectacular displays - many of which can be seen from your deck or while relaxing by the pool.

Mahina Surf # 219 is the best place to spend a few days or weeks relaxing on the deck, swimming in our heated pool or just walking in the wonderful gardens.

About The Owner

My husband John and I have been coming to Hawaii, and specially to Maui since 1982 and have enjoyed our vacations here very much. On March of 2004 we decided to buy a place in Maui and we were very fortunate to find this lovely condominium at Mahina Surf. We wanted a low rise and small complex that would be ocean front and with beautiful gardens. Mahiha Surf met all of our requirements. We are both retired educators and now reside in Los Altos Hills, a small town in northern California. We are very happy to have a son, John Jr. and daughter, Susan, a son in law, Einar and two darling grandsons, Justin and Christian. Since we purchased our condo we come to Mahina Surf with our children and grandchildren every year.

Why The Owner chose Kahana

We chose to buy this condo because of the beautiful gardens and the magnificent ocean views and sunsets. We specially like the large pool and nice patio furnishings. It is very centrally located close to shopping and sandy beaches such as Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua..

What makes this condo unique

Our unit # 219 has a beautiful view of the ocean, the islands of Molokai and the pool from the deck. It has very nice and comfortable furniture and the tile floors in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom make it for a very cool and pleasant home away from home.

Many years and (not) 8 grandkids ago, my husband and I promised our grandkids that we would take them all, 2 at a time, to Hawaii. This year, we have fulfilled our promise. We took our 2 youngest grandchildren (ages 13 & 14) to Hawaii, plus our daughter and her husband (celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary).

Mahina Surf (#219) was everything the description said it was. The condo slept 6 very comfortably; the staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We had everything in the room that we needed, right down to the correct number of towels for all 6 of us, plus swimming towels.

Though there was not a washer and dryer in our room, there are laundry facilities on-site. The washer and dryers in the facility were over sized and inexpensive to use.

Everyone enjoyed the clean swimming pool. The grounds are well landscaped and well-tended.

The turtles were awesome!! They not only came in from the ocean in the evening, they were there in the mornings as well. At one time we saw 9 of them!

We'll be back! Maybe not 6 of us but we will be back for another awesome vacation!

Beautiful condo in great location - excellent value

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the condo. It had everything we needed, we only wished it had an in-unit washer/dryer (the common coin-operated laundry is fine though). Beautiful pool and grounds, nearest sandy beach is about 1/2 mile away. Complex is well maintained and the owner was very helpful. We would definitely come back!

Lovely!

This is a very nice and well appointed condo. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the gardens are beautiful. The interior is furnished nicely with ample room. The location is perfect and close to Kannapali & Lahaina We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!

John and I just returned from Maui and had a wonderful times with our grandchildren. We all had a fun time watching the turtles swimming in front of the condo complex and we also used the BBQs in front of the complex while enjoying the sunset. What a magnificent experience that was for my grandsons who are four and eight.
This time we bought two high definition TVs., new pots and pans, new lamps for the living room and other kitchen items for your comfort and enjoyment.

the A Tropical Paradise

This is a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful sunsets, the pungent smell of plumeria, the wonderful ocean breeze, and turtles too!! You will love the pool, once you are in you don't want to get out, and you meet the most interesting people from all over the world. The condo is so tastefully decorated, gorgeous paintings and everything is there that you would ever want. The location is ideal, close to excellent restaurants and the best beach on the island. We loved ever moment of our stay, and it is so much like
the "old" Hawaii. Go and enjoy!!
