Rosarito offers great bargains, world famous flee markets, popular restaurants and nightly fireworks on the beach. world famous Puerto Nuevo (lobster village). many restaurants offering mouth-watering lobster at great price 10 min south.

99 Cent any-time margaritas at Poco Cielo restaurant on a cliff overlooking the ocean just 3 minutes south on the free rd, great dining as well. La Mission restaurant has great breakfasts specials as well as happy-hour. Also mid-week lunch specials. Great views. The popular La Fonda restaurant with great food and spectacular ocean views- is five minutes south on the free road. That’s Amore restaurant- Great Italian & Seafood restaurant in Rosarito. Maganas Restaurant Bar- In La Mission, located 7 minutes south of Plaza Del Mar. Del Rio’s restaurant- five minutes south of Plaza Del Mar. Rubens Mexican Bar & Grill- 12 minutes north of Plaza Del Mar Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village - located approx. 10 min north of the community. Also Foxploration Fox Studios, where Titanic was filmed, is 15 minutes north of community.

Golf: Direction To Beach. This has nothing to do with golf this is direction to beach only. This way requires you to be physically fit it involves a 15 min walk down a beautiful trail. You exit the front gate. Make a right, drive about a minute on the free road. The third gate to your right is the pyramid section. Enter; make a quick right, park your car near the dry waterfall. Walk towards the pyramid. Make a right at the guard booth. Make another right 20 ft up the street. Make a left right before the black gate. Walk down get to a stair case. Walk down make a left at the patio pass the palapa bar. You will see stairs going up leading to a trail. Walk up the stairs follow the trail be careful these are high cliffs. You will get to a small hill climb up then down you will follow the trail all the way down, till you see construction of a building. Turn right walk down to beach. Another Option: Drive south as you exit the plaza 5 minutes you get to La Fonda restaurant. Park your car on either side of the highway. At La Fonda restaurant take the stairs all the way down to the beach. Yet Another Option: Drive south on the free road from the plaza. Take the toll road which is 5 minute down it will say Ensenada south. About 7-10 minutes you will see horses parked on the beach. That’s la mission public beach. Get off that exit. You can also rent horses there approx $10 to 15 dollars an hour.
