We spent a week here and loved it. Right ona long, very unpopulated beach during the week. Acommodations are first rate with all the comforts of home, Mexican style. If you want bright lights, discos and bars this is NOT the area to go to but if a quiet, relaxed and scenic vacation is your preference, away from the daily grind, this is the spot. Walked the 7 km. beach daily, toured El Coro ( not to be missed) visited San Blas and had numerous meals at local ramadas and a 5 star in San Blas ( Garza Canela) which is outstanding. Visit Tepic, Los Plantanitos village and beach, San Blas square for market and talk to the locals who are the most accomodating people you can meet. Quite a number of Americans and Canadian have home here and spend 6 months or more relaxing, enjoying endless blue skies and some of the best seafood in Mexico.
The listing is described accurately and the owner has a local electrican/plumber available should you need his asssitance. (I couldn't find the spark for the gas stove and called for help which arrived in 10 minutes.) All appliances are new, the unit is two floors and was spotless, the king bed very comfortable and with the doors to the deck open at night, the sound of the waves coming from the far east will lull yyou to sleep quickly. Local mini-marts and the market in San Blas have all the supplies you will need and local prices for wine, beer and spirits are very inexpensive.
The surrounding area is a farming ( mangos, bananas, melons etc) community with local fishermen selling fresh fish and shrimp that are just caught.
Overall, a peaceful and relaxing visit in a very nice facility.
