Perfect for family gatherings and small or large groups of friends, this waterfront lodge has many amenities including five bedrooms, sleeping accommodations for up to 15*, cable TV, DVD players, three kitchens with features such as stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and three bathrooms including one that has a Jacuzzi-style bathtub. Adirondack- style furnishings and decor abound in this beautiful, recently renovated vacation getaway. You will realize that this is not a typical Adirondack “camp” when you sleep on our king-size, pillow top mattresses, cozy up to our wood stove style heaters on those chilly nights or realize you are literally in the trees when you relaxing on our expansive tree house-level deck.
We are located in the heart of Inlet, on the water between Fourth and Fifth Lakes, and have a dock and a canoe for your use. You can spend time relaxing on our spacious screened porches overlooking the water where you can watch boaters, canoes and kayakers paddle by. Or why not rent or bring your own kayak and join in on the fun? Avid paddlers know that participants in the annual 90-Miler pass right by our dock during the month of September.
We are right in town so you can walk to everything, the beach, parks, tennis courts, stores, shops, churches, restaurants and more. Stay with us the year ‘round. Summer visitors like to swim, bike ride, fish, hike, enjoy in-town activities at area restaurants, enjoy a water park just ten miles away in Old Forge, a movie theater or swimming, picnicking, and tennis at Arrowhead Park. The park also has dock space for your daytime boat trip. During autumn, our guests are awed by the beauty of the Fall foliage and visit just for that! When you hike up any number of mountain trails be sure to bring your camera! Winter sport enthusiasts know that the December through March brings skiers, both cross country and downhill, as well as snowmobile riders. Inlet and Old Forge have some of the best trails around and one is directly across from our lodge. McCauley Mountain to the south and Gore Mountain to the north are just a short drive away.
The Overlook at Fifth is an ideal place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the Adirondacks and the 14 mile long Fulton Chain of Lakes.
