House & Surroundings:
Outside, choose to relax on the large furnished upstairs deck with gas grill or on the lower deck that boasts a beautiful, six person bubbling hot tub and wicker patio set. Imagine relaxing in the private hot tub while watching the stars. It is so beautiful! In the fall, the colors are unbelievable! After you get out of the hot tub, you may feel like playing a round of horseshoes or relaxing on the hammock. If you have children, they will enjoy the backyard tree fort. The home has it all. We are sorry to say that due to severe allergies, smoking and pets are not allowed.
The gated community of Arrowhead Lake offers three heated outdoor pools (one pool under a block away!), 2 beautiful lakes (an easy walk or bike ride just under 1/2 mile from our home) and 4 guarded beaches.
Things to Do:
There are playgrounds, tennis courts, fishing off the pier, boat rentals, plenty of bike riding area and many planned activities all summer and winter long (bingo, pool parties, summer carnival, line dancing, Karaoke, etc.) In the winter, there is a Free snow tubing/sledding hill in the community and ice skating on the lake (bring your tube and skates and it is at your own risk).
Arrowhead Lake is located in Pocono Lake (zip code 18347). It is only 8-10 minutes to Jack Frost Ski Resort and 25 minutes from Camelback. Camelback becomes Camelbeach in the summer and was recognized by the Travel Channel as one of the best water parks in the country.
With all of the wonderful restaurants, skiing, tubing, water parts, Bushkill Falls, The Crossing Outlets, Antique shops just minutes away, you'll have a hard time deciding what to do (or not to do) first. Enjoy your vacation and please feel free to call or email with any questions about our home.
