Our condo is beautifully appointed in comfortable colors and fabrics in the best taste. It has three spacious levels: - Mid-level: Spacious living room with TV/CD/Video, stereo system, fire place, large fully equipped kitchen with breakfast cove, separate dining room graciously furnished, walkout to deck with spectacular view of lake and town, wet bar. - Lake level: Master bedroom, king bed, walk-in closet, double sink full bath, TV, walkout to deck, lawn and beach; guest bedroom, double bed, full bath, TV, lake view. - Large Loft: air conditioning, two pullout sofas, small private bedroom with full bed, game table and chairs, closet, lake view.

Boyne City : is a bustling little town with shopping, restaurants, boat ramps, marina, beautiful parks, huge playground, many summer and fall activities.

Amenities: Loft: air conditioning, two pull-out beds, one small private bedroom; full bath Kitchen: Island stove, microwave/oven, toaster, coffee maker, cookwares, serving utensils, double sink and garbage disposer, refrigerator-freezer, oak storage cabinets, sets of glassware and colorful dishware. Laundry room on lake level: washer/dryer, sink, shower stall. Phones in kitchen, living room, lower level bedrooms. Firewood provided for fireplace; grill provided. Parking for two cars and a boat. Sandy beach, shallow out to drop off (about 50 ft), dock for swimming and sunbathing. Located in residential area well away from road.

The most important thing I can tell you about this property is to go have a look at it BEFORE you put any money down on it.

My guess is that not a dollar has been invested in this place since it was built. They have a regular cleaning person who tries her best, but you can't clean old accumulated dirt. The decorations are old and tired - wallpapaper is peeling off of the wall. The shag carpeting makes you not feel comfortable going bare foot. The kitchen is old, old, old and feels dirty. During our stay the water heater banged incessently such that we couldn't sleep in the two lower bedrooms. The dishwasher died (old age the repairman said-just like everything else in this place). Oh and by the way, we had to spend a day of our vacation waiting for the appliance repairman and for a water heater repairman that never showed up. Some windows didn't work. The screen door on the master bedroom didn't work. The vacuum cleaner didn't work. The place is just plain ill maintained, old and tired. The landlord was out of town and little help and unresponsive to a ruined vacation.

Again, buyer beware. Have a look before you leap.
