We loved staying at Central House. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and everyone was very comfortable. The teenagers stayed in the apartment on the top floor so they had their own space, the grandparents stayed on the first floor and everyone had their own bathroom. The house was well-furnished. The bathrooms were quite deluxe and the beds were comfortable. We especially loved the front porch for reading and relaxing. We were less than a block from the charming town center of Southwest Harbor and we enjoyed patronizing the restaurants, shops and market there. We were a very short walk to the Island shuttle bus as well. We highly recommend this house.
