BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This beautiful log home is about halfway between Bozeman and Livingston. It offers rugged mountain views from the house and deck that expand out to include the entire Bridger Mountain Range. The views are really phenomenal. With its secluded location, it's a wonderful spot for a retreat for family and/or friends yet it is only 30 minutes from downtown Bozeman. The home has a large deck with picnic table and outdoor furniture to enjoy outdoor living and also to view the frequent wildlife visitors.
BEDROOMS: The home has two bedrooms on the main floor, and two bedrooms on the lower level. The first bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a full size bed, plus a twin bed. There is one full bath with tub and shower on the main floor. One of the lower level bedrooms has a queen size bed and there is a full bath out in the hall with a shower only. The second downstairs bedroom has two bunkbeds, each with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on top. Timberline Lookout can accommodate up to ten guests.
KITCHEN: The open kitchen area has a gas range and oven, a microwave, coffee maker and a nice supply of cook ware and serving ware. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need. There is a bar style counter separating the kitchen from the rest of the living area. You will find a row of barstools at the counter for chatting with the cook or extra seating at meal time.
DINING ROOM: The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and the living room. The dining room table seats six comfortably.
LIVING ROOM: The comfortable living room has a woodstove for those chilly evenings, a small stereo system and doors out to the deck. Out on the deck you will find a gas grill, picnic table and other outdoor furniture for those evening barbecues. On the lower level of the home is more space in the game room with a ping pong table, foosball table and air hockey table. The loft area has a television with local channels and VCR/DVD and a Wii gaming system. The television at the home has three local channels and a DVD and VCR for watching movies.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY: There is hiking, fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and all that the towns of Bozeman and Livingston have to offer. There is also great mountain biking right on the roads near the home. Yellowstone Park is about an hour and a half from the home, and for an especially memorable experience in the park, book a specialized private tour with our sister company, Greater Yellowstone Guides.
DISTANCE TO TOWN: Fourteen miles (about a thirty minute drive) to Bozeman's Main Street and just a few miles further to Livingston. Bozeman's Gallatin Field is about a 40 minute drive away.
NOTE: As this home is accessed by a mountain road, a high clearance vehicle is recommended.
