BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This three bedroom, three-bath home in the Paradise Valley literally looks out over the Yellowstone River and is a short drive through Montana's gorgeous Paradise Valley from Yellowstone National Park. Guests can walk out the door and go fishing or floating right from the house. The home offers beautiful wood and tile floors and brand new mission style leather furniture and tasteful artwork to enjoy.
BEDROOMS AND BATHS: Yellowstone Lookout South has three bedrooms, all with outstanding views and private baths. The master bedrooms is downstairs with a king size bed, private bathroom and secluded Yellowstone River patio. In addition, the master bedroom has its own 32 " flat screen TV with satellite service. The second bedroom downstairs is the bunk room which will sleep up to 5 people - there is one single-over-single bunk and one single-over-double bunk. This bedroom also has its own bathroom and a patio overlooking the river. The third bedroom is on the main floor (same as the living areas of the home) with a queen size bed and attached bathroom.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA: The complete kitchen, with dishwasher, range, microwave and all the cookware is open to the dining area and living room. You'll find everything from a coffee maker and grinder, to a crockpot and blender. You can enjoy your meals at the dining room table or head on out to the deck to enjoy your meal while savoring the river view. There is a gas grill out on the deck for those who like to barbecue. Additional chairs are available to seat up to 10 people.
LIVING ROOM: In the vaulted living room, you'll find cozy and comfortable leather furniture, a flat screen television with satellite service and a gas fired woodstove -- everything you could need! Large windows offer spectacular views of the Yellowstone River, waterfowl, bald eagles and the surrounding mountains. The home provides a large selection of videos and DVDs to enjoy, a CD/DVD home theater system, an Ipod docking station as well as a variety of games and books. Take a short walk down a path from the home to the Yellowstone River to enjoy the view of your private river frontage from your picnic table on the river's edge.
SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: Yellowstone Lookout South is in a small neighborhood of homes along the banks of the Yellowstone River. From the back deck, the river and fields across the way is all you see. There are no neighbors on the opposite side of the river, but Route 89 is within sight.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing right out the back door, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours of Yellowstone National Park and everything that the towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have to offer. Chico Hot Springs, with a great restaurant and saloon and a large mineral pool for soaking, is just ten minutes away. Winter visitors can enjoy cross country skiing in the Absaroka Mountains or go exploring the winter wonders of Yellowstone Park.
CLOSEST TOWN AND AIRPORT: It's about 20 miles to Livingston, 45 miles to Bozeman and 55 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Yellowstone Park is about a 40 minute drive.
