Enjoy the view of Wolf Creek and the mountains. Take a walk around the meadow and along the creek, enjoy the wild flowers or the autumn leaf color. Pull your shoes off and wade in the creek or rig a pole and fish for rainbow trout. Relax on the deck and read. Enjoy watching the deer. Wonderful hiking trails abound in the area, including the Appalachian trail. Be sure to see Helton Creek Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Raven Cliffs Falls and Desota Falls.
There are several very beautiful wineries in the area, Wolf Mountain Winery, Tiger Mountain Winery and Frog Town Winery are just to name a few. Blue Ridge to the west and Hiawassee to the east have many antique shops, art galleries and good restaurants. The Blue Ridge Railroad rides along the Toccoa River to McCaysville for lunch and back. Don't forget to visit Helen. The best time is during the week. Great location (near Sunrise Grocery) for bicyclists and motorcyclists!
While not fancy, our chalet in the mountains is comfortable, clean, very private and in a beautiful setting! Politely, we ask you to honor our wish to refrain from smoking on the premise and inside the chalet! THANK YOU!

We spent our first vacation after we were married in 1969 tent camping in the mountains! From the beginning, we dreamed of having a place of our own. Sandra and I have back packed, fly fished, and camped all over the mountains. We have owned our chalet for 14 years. We enjoy it more and more every year!
We have always enjoyed the mountains. We have the best of everything the mountains have to offer, water front creek, mountain views and a large meadow right out our front door!
If you enjoy cooking our kitchen has everything you will need. There is a Weber grill and table and chairs on the deck and a fire pit and picnic table down by the creek.
