Details about the interior of the cabin::
A cozy cabin feeling is created by the knotty aspen woodwork on most walls and ceilings, which adds to the mountain charm. The Great Room has a wood-burning fireplace with a floor to ceiling rock chimney. The dining table seats 8 people. The kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, electric glass top range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, crock pot, electric griddle and all equipment needed for food preparation and dining. Complimentary olive oil, herbs and spices are also provided. The 3 bedrooms have 2 queen beds, 2 twins beds and there is a queen sleeper couch in the loft. A gas grill is provided on the deck for BBQs. The master bathroom features a two-person heated whirlpool bath and a shower. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower with a sliding glass enclosure.

Things to do in the area::
There are great hiking opportunities both inside and outside the Park. Fishing can be enjoyed approx. 4 miles from the cabin at the Lonesomehurst Campground down Denny Creek Rd (off of Rt. 20). Here you'll find a lake on the South Fork of the Madison River with a public boat launch and dock for your use. River rafting on the Gallatin River is a great way to cool down on a hot summer day. Try a full or half day rafting adventure along the lower section of the river with lots of rapids, or enjoy a more relaxed trip along the upper Gallatin with the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Horseback riding can be enjoyed by renting horses at the Diamond P Ranch, located a few miles from the vacation home. Other outfitters can take your party into the back country of Yellowstone Park, or the surrounding National Forest Service land. The fall, with its beautiful foliage and cooler temperatures, is also a great time to visit.

West Yellowstone is located in the heart of fly-fishing country. Several of the most fabled streams and rivers in the world are within a five to fifty mile radius of the town, including the Madison River, Gallatin River, Yellowstone River, and Henry's Fork of the Snake River. High quality lake fishing is also available on Hebgen Lake and Quake Lake, as well as Henry's Lake and Island Park Reservoir. All are a short drive from the vacation home. You can keep the huge lake trout that you catch in Yellowstone Lake, located inside the park.
Ski:
West Yellowstone and surroundings are famous for their excellent snow conditions, which makes it an ideal place for winter vacationing. If you love cross-country skiing, you can enjoy some of the finest cross-country ski trails in West Yellowstone. For example, start at the Rendez-Vous trail system with over 20 miles of groomed trails. For more adventurous trips hire a guide and go on a tour in Gallatin National Forest.
Snowmobiling can be enjoyed inside and outside of the park. West Yellowstone is called the snowmobiling capital of the world.The cabin has direct access to many miles of snowmobile trails.You can literally drive away from the cabin in your snowmobile and spend a full day on local trails that take you all the way to West Yellowstone or into Idaho. For snowmobiling inside the Park you will need to go on a guided tour. Snowmobile rentals are available in West Yellowstone.

Only a half mile from the cabin there is a 9 hole/par 3 mini golf course.
