Maple Woods Cottage is a private, family-owned retreat on Bass Lake, a 100 acre all-sports lake. Much of the lake's shoreline is dedicated to a state park, which makes it a sanctuary for wildlife, including loons, herons, white-tailed deer, raccoons, beavers, and a variety of game fish such as bass, walleye, pike, perch and bluegill. The lake is a ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, and tubing. We provide a fishing boat w/motor for summer fun. In the winter, the Bass Lake area is known for snow-skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Fall and Spring are gorgeous!
