"We visited Puerto Vallarta for the fourth time last week and we loved that city as much as the first time.
It's sad to me to tell, that we didn't find the condo as we expected. A broken light over the stove, no TV signal, no door in the kids bathroom and no service in the clothes dryer. We reported the situation at front desk. Two electricians looked the appliances and told us that the TV connection was perfect, the problem was due maybe, to bill matter. The dryer engine needed a specialized recondition. No need to explain about the kitchen light and the toilet door. While in there, we e mailed it to the owner.
As an adult, I understand that this things happens at home, but I'd love to be warned before visiting the place. So, we took care of the kids and prayed the grannys not to do any cooking. Anyway, before leaving, we paid a compulsory fee of $370 mex pesos ($35usdlls aprox) for the maid service and tip her. It was not her fault.
It's been 15 years that we rent vacation propertys, the third time in that building and the first time that it happens to us. I felt ashamed in front of my family.
Good luck."

Owner's Response: We heard from our renter during their stay and immediately took action to their concerns. I have been down there and back and have taken care of most of her items. We have purchased a new dryer and replaced the lightbulb in the kitchen where they said they had no light. The cable was turned back on during their stay. That was merely a delay in receiving the annual bill from Mexico. We rely on our renters to inform us of any issues. We appreciated them letting us know that we had some things to take care of to make our vacation home more comfortable for our renters.
