The apartment called 'Flora' is situated in Piazza del Duomo in the heart of Florence’s historical centre, on the 4th floor without lift ( 85 steps top floor ) of a prestigious XVI century palace that once belonged to the Ghiberti family, one of Florence’s most important historical families. Spending time in my apartment is to be accompanied by the shadow of the magnificent dome of Brunelleschi, the grandeur of Giotto’s belltower and the splendour of Vasari’s frescos, in an unforgettable dream that Florence will dream with you and bring you great joy and an even greater desire to return. Flora directly face the Duomo, giving you the sensation that you could reach out and touch its magnificent green and white marble facade.   • DEPOSIT (advance payment) 30% of the total amount, either by wire transfer (Bank to Bank) or by PayPal (Credit card) 3 days from your request to confirm the apartment. After we got your deposit, we will send you a voucher by e-mail for your confirmed reservation.
    BALANCE
    At the moment of the handing over of the keys, in cash.
    TERMINATION OF BOOKING / RESERVATION
    The cancellation of the reservation will have to be communicated by e-mail / fax at least 60 days before the date of arrival, otherwise you will lose the advance payment. The advance will be given back either by money transfer (bank swift) after having detracted the different charges and the bank commissions or via PayPal
    DEPOSIT ( for any damaged caused )
    200 Euro or 250$, on your arrival it will be given back when you leave the apartment ( after a final check of the apartment)
    CONDITIONS
    Prices of your stay depend on the season and on the length of the stay.
    Winter season: Heating Euro 3 per day

    ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIME
    Arrival: check-in is done between 3.30 pm and 6.00 pm in different hours and Saturday and Sunday by appointment.
    Departure day: check-out is to be done no later than 9.30 am.
    (If you leave before 7.30 am nobody will be able to check the flat, so the check out will be made the previous evening).
    The reservation implies that the general information and conditions have been read and approved.

Thank you again, Luca, for your hospitality! I can't say enough good things about this apartment or it's owner!! Great location, beautiful furnishings, modern conveniences. Even the steps didn't bother me!!! (They justified the gelato....)I would suggest that light sleepers bring their earplugs, though- especially on the weekends. My Mom, sister, Aunt and I had a wonderful time in Florence. Thanks again!

Wow! What a beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. We fully enjoyed our stay in Flora...including the steps! It was perfect for our family of 4. Close to the train station for day trips and within walking distance to most things you want to see in the city. As previously reported, Luca is a delight! Can't wait to return to Tuscany and Flora!!

You will not find better accomodations in Florence than the Flora Flat-period. The location is outstanding, the furnishings are perfect, and Luca will go out of his way to accomodate you. My only regret is that my family did not spend enough time there. Next time we'll rent it for the whole summer!! Luca and his family has a standing invitation to my home whenever he is in the U.S.

This apartment is beautiful! Literally puts you across the street from the beautiful Duomo, the view and location are wonderful. All accommodations were there, it felt like our own home. Luca was extremely friendly and hospitable, he even helped us track down our luggage. It was all more than I expected and I can't wait to come back. Thank you Luca!

We loved the apartment. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect and we did not mind all the steps after awhile. Very beautiful place to stay in a Fantastic city!
