Liberace would not like his house today....

Cy, the owner, seems unaware that his maintenance and cleaning staff are taking advantage of his good nature. Kitchen cabinets had stale food and built-up grime on doors; shower floors were scummy; no hot water the first night (tenants fixed it); no heat for four nights due to poor or no maintenance. Compensation offered for discomfort was to return in '08 to stay 5 days, get 1 night free.... Property advertised as wheelchair accessible because of one ramp to sunken L.R., but doorways very narrow, esp. to toilets, insufficient grab bars anywhere in bathrooms. Property is pretty and large, but don't look too closely.

OFF THE STRIP

Upon entering the house, especially at night with all the effects (lighting, piano playing, pool fountain on, etc), it was a spectacular sight (we all arrived at different times but the night arrivals got the best effects). For the seven women who gathered, it was the PERFECT place to be. Relaxing, homey and of course full of fun history, ghostly mystery and Liberace ambiance. Cy, the owner, was a wealth of information from the home's history to local knowledge of what to see and do.
I've only been back 4 days and I've already been recommending the place to others.
A rental car is a plus to have but long walks are possible to the strip. Menopause The Musical a good ticket for anyone, female OR male (very insightful fellas!). Hoover Dam interesting especially with the new construction going on. Pinot Brasserie at the Venetian - a very nice French restaurant. Old strip more fun to gamble at - less pretentious (we only went there in the day time - heard it could be sketchy at night). Air is very dry if you're not used to it (amazing that ice takes forever to melt - bizarre!).
I would definitely go back.

Viva Las Vegas

Our annual Columbus Weekend girls getaway took us to this stellar location this year and disappointed we were not! From Cy's vast knowledge of the house's history to the very "Lee" decor, we made the house our home for four incredible days and will surely be back in the future.

WE FELT LIKE WE WERE ON THE TV SHOW VEGAS, WAY TOO COOL. THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS, SO BEAUTIFUL, WE SPENT ALL OUR DAYS AT THE HOUSE AND OUR NIGHTS ON THE TOWN. MY GROUP WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. OH YA AND MR BENNET IS THE GREATEST. SEE YA ON OUR NEXT TRIP. REGARDS JACK AND CANDICE

3rd Reunion Visit

This has been our 3rd visit to the Liberace White House for an all girls reunion. We have stayed at Bellagio, the Venetian and the MGM.. but we never really felt relaxed until we found this Gem. It is so much nicer to have the whole group together, instead of all spread out. The pool is so refreshing and the owners have thought of everything. We will continue to spend every year here, especially with the repeat guest discount they offer. It is so glamorous, you feel like a star. With all that Las Vegas has to offer, this is without question the Best Deal.
