There are numerous restaurants and one of the most highly rated restaurant and wine cellars in Europe, the Enoteca Di Pinchiori it is a block and a half away from the apartment on the same via Ghibellina. So if you want to live Florence like an indigine and having all the comfort and advantages of being in the historical centre of town, then you are in the right location for this neighbourhood has maintained its passed neighbourhood atmosphere and has not been highly influenced by mass tourism.
