Fully furnished for all ages (except wheelchairs), this newly renovated home is 109 yrs old and combines Victorian architecture and some antiques with up-to-date styles and fabrics. A beautifully furnished kitchen and fancy dinnerware for your entertainment and parties plus an ancient cook-stove and huge new dining table. We also provide breakfast foods for your own fixing for stays up to a week, for your convenience and to save you money.
The 4 bedrooms are varied in decor, from hand-painted nursery style to elegant master bedroom with a queen bed in the master, queen and twin in the large nursery, a single in the children's/teen's room, and a queen in the downstairs en-suite. Upstairs the large bathroom has an antique claw-foot tub/shower, with antique chest/sink and lots of storage.
More Room Details: The bathroom downstairs connects to the French Country decor bedroom which has antique armoire, rocker, and chest of drawers. The in-suite bathroom has striped wainscoting with pedestal sink and plenty of nooks and crannies for all your storage needs.
Our living room is a stylish and comfortable mix of new and antique furniture with TV, VCR, and DVD with movies, a few games and toys inside the armoire and side table. We also furnish books to read and a small sewing kit.
The floors are mostly original fir that have been refinished downstairs and painted upstairs. Comfortable rugs in all rooms are provided. Bathrooms and kitchen areas are vinyl flooring. Floor plan is great for entertaining.
We have a full laundry room, pantry, mudroom/writing room, and if it's the right season, fruit trees in the huge, mostly fenced back yard with pears, apples, plums and grapes for your fresh eating. White picket fencing is in the front of the house.
Kitchen and Entertainment Details: We also include basic foods, i.e. flour, sugar, spices, etc., for your cooking needs. We have milk, juice, coffee, tea and a few sodas on hand. For your comfort and entertainment our home includes dinnerware, silverware, glasses, goblets, serving-ware, 3 tables, great cookware, large refrigerator, kitchen island, dishwasher, oven/range, microwave, toaster oven, pot rack, all small kitchen appliances, washer and dryer with laundry products, ironing facilities, pantry with some foods, linens, movies, toys, books, games, playpen, and highchair. The antique cook-stove is strictly nonfunctional and there is no telephone service - your cell phone use will be needed.
