There are two boat launches with picnic areas close to the house. The first one is 500 feet away offering boat launch, parking, picnic tables and a cove for swimming. The second park is 1 mile away with a large boat launch, parking, adjacent park with playground, sandbox, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, boat moorage, BBQ cabana, bathrooms and a special buoyed off area for small children to swim, splash and play.
Enjoy long hot summer days along 22 miles of shoreline boating, skiing, tubing, kayaking, swimming or just plain sunbathing. After a day in the sun come back to the chalet and enjoy a great BBQ with cocktails on the scenic 'park like' deck with it's own private babbling creek.
Interested in scuba diving, crabbing, clamming or oyster digging in the town of Hoodsport? It is in your backyard.
Looking for a winter getaway? Enjoy quiet nights by firelight, a good book or a great board game. The holidays might even bring a little snowfall.
The house has been completely updated with new appliances, fully stocked kitchen, satellite TV's huge off street parking for multiple cars, boats and RV's. Perfect for 2-4 families, family reunions, weddings, church retreats, honeymooners or company getaways.
The house can sleep up to 20 with 3 Queen beds, 2 twins beds, 2 pull out sofas, 2 double over twin bunks and extra couches, youth bed and a pack 'n' play crib.
The chalet is adjacent to a double lot which can accommodate RV's and tents for the extended family and/or unique camping experience.
